Perhaps this is just Mourinho making him unsettled for our League Cup final show down with them.........
Oh no you don't, we won our last game, so our manager will undoubtably fcuk this one up...that's what he normally does!!
Thought Stephens did ok, better than cucu anyway. I do not understand if McQueen plays right mid/wing why not play him rb and Ryan lb
Because McQueen has always been traditionally a left-midfielder/striker. Hence the conversion to left-back. Agree about Stephens ... looked good.
I think there is some lies being spinned - Bertrand was too ill to play against Everton, but was on the bench (huh?!), now he probably won't be playing Saturday because he's been ill all week - but has been training full-time according to the 'happy squad' photos supplied by Saints. Is that good practice to have an ill player training with the fit and healthy first team players? Perhaps he has peed off someone and is just dropped to 'show' him?
That is possible. Do you recall the rumour very early on in Puel's reign that he had a bust up with Ryan?
Bearing in mind how many games we have played in December and how "tired" the players are, Ryan has hardly played any part in the games....strange illness he apparently has?
Bertrand and Fonte are quite close, I believe, off the pitch. Potential to lose him as well, I think.
Looks like the usual Saints summer fire sale will be as "exciting" as usual then. No wonder Puel to trying to bring so many academy players through as they will be the only ones left at this rate. Hope Les has got the "Black Box" scanning for an entire new defence
