I bet the boycott of the replay, if there is one, will be more successful then the one tomorrow.

I agree but you wouldn't think so by reading some of the stuff on here.

You have absolutely no idea how to take advantage of events, as they happen. The reason for the boycott haven't gone away, but the way in which those reasons can be addressed have been given an excellent opportunity to be improved upon.

A serious organisation is not one with it's strategy stuck in mud; a serious organisation will be dynamic and respond to change. How effective do you believe the boycott will be? I believe the main reason it will be noticed will be due to the announcements the Trust have made about it. You have an excellent opportunity to achieve a similar outcome (an expression of dissatisfaction), whilst also showing intelligent and considered support for your club at a time of significant change.

    Your thoughts are schoolboy nonsense.

Sorry Dennis, but that's a lot of Codswallop.

This is one event being discussed and not a resignation matter (I am a member of the Trust); nor do I, or anyone else have to become involved in anything to express an opinion. That's the last resort of a fool and I've never took you for a fool.

Opinions given previously were given in the circumstances of the time; but times change. It's okay sticking to your guns, but you don't pull the trigger if there might be a better way forward. This unexpected and dramatic change in management, has thrown up an excellent opportunity to achieve at least the same, but probably a greater / better outcome than a boycott would. It would be a new, urgent communication that the media would be justified to hook onto and it would be seen as beneficial to the club, not detrimental. As I said earlier, it would capture the moral high ground in the relationship, without being seen as aggressive. Both sides could use it wisely.

If some folk have already donated to charity then that is to be applauded, but I would hope that their gesture indicates they are the sort ho would consider that the price of a ticket would be a worthy price to pay to take such a golden opportunity in the campaign against the oppressive ownership. It would also be a big statement to any potential owner.

Hull City Supporters’ Trust - An Open Letter to Marco Silva

    Dear Mr Silva,

The Hull City Supporters' Trust would like to express a warm welcome to you and your staff to Hull City AFC and indeed the UK’s City of culture for 2017. We are sure you will soon find that the local people are both friendly and passionate about their football club. We hope yourself, Joao, Goncalo, Hugo and your families all settle into the area quickly and happily.

We look forward immensely to your tenure and are excited to see the football on display. We know that the players always give 100% every time they represent the club we are so proud of, and that is all we can ask for as supporters.

You have joined Hull City at a time of some discontent. Due to what many supporters believe has been negligent running of the club for a number of years by the Allam family, attendances are much lower than in previous years, with thousands of fans refusing to attend home games until a change of ownership has taken place.

Some weeks ago, a boycott of the Swansea FA Cup game (07/01/2017) was planned. This boycott is one form of protest against the Allam family's running of the club.

We wish to assure you however that we are fully behind your management of the club and all the players that wear the black and amber shirt.

Best wishes and good luck in your new role.

The Trust has been calling for a boycott for three weeks and asking people to donate the ticket money to charitable causes instead. To scrap the boycott two days before the game, when the reasons for the boycott have not changed or been addressed, really would be schoolboy.

Lamb is the press conference a national affair or just one for the local press? Could be busy with it been his first one?

Hull City Supporters 'Trust - Uma carta aberta a Marco Silva

    Caro Sr. Silva,

I'd expect a fairly big turnout for today's presser, I'd expect Sky and a couple of the nationals to be there, but I'm guessing.
