The frightening thing for me though is a mag loving journalist can tell an England Manager that he is "the ginger pirlo" and he believed him. Says a lot about English football - its influenced by Journo's
You can forget previous seasons and all of the great escapes that we have witnessed over the last 6 seasons, we are in a totally different position right now. Right now SAFC are arguably in the worst position they have ever been in during their top flight career, both on the pitch and financially. We have 10 first team regulars out with long term injuries and 3 away on international duty for the next 3 weeks, we're reportedly £140m in debt and the owner has put the club up for sale, one of our relegation rivals are doing their best to unsettle the only player we have who can score goals. If they succeed we may as well accept the inevitable as that's exactly what relegation would be, inevitable. It's a no brainer for me, we simply have to tell West Ham to go **** right off and file a complaint with the FA to ward off any other suiters.
The fact that Defoe has remained silent has me abit worried about all of this. I was hoping hed have pledged his future to us by now and told West ham they are wasting their time cause hes happy with us.
There is a quote from him in the sunderland echo about bids being jnevitable, he is happy here etc. i don't think he needs to say anymore, as anything he does say will just get twisted to fook by ****er journos..
Just been on the newsnow site and loads of absolute bollocks about Defoe. None of the papers are even getting the same figures so its again lazy journalism at its best. That Jenas ****er needs shagging with a raggy pineapple after what he says too, the useless fukcin muppet.
It'll be interesting to see if you play him tomorrow in the FA Cup, if West Ham make it past City tonight.

£13m from West Ham now which you've rejected apparently. They'll probably give up now, I'd imagine you'd sell if they went up to £20m, but I can't see them going that high unless they're really ruthless about sending you down.
