I could be wrong, but if you're trying to make him jealous, I don't think that'll cut it.

I must admit I was slightly surprised that the football 'installation' featured the "We want Allam out" chant so prominently
    Pleased, but surprised
I can't imagine that the As will want anything to do with City of Culture (hopefully they're gone before it finishes)

Seen the pictures seen the tele read the comments on this forum but nothing prepared me for the effects that 10 minute presentation had on me as my head swivelled from the Ferens to the City Hall to take it all in. I will have to go again and see the projection on the Fishing/Whaleing museum, well done to all concerned with putting it together.

Did the same as you really
Watched from a point I could see Ferens and City Hall on Sat night
Then last night watched it on the Whaling Museum
Same story obviously but very slightly different on each (fruit machine works well on museum cos it fits the windows perfectly)

Nowhere near as good but we wandered down and watched the show projected on the side of the Deep last night. Definitely worth it, and looked impressive, although if anyone goes first time and has time I'd do it all in reverse and finish off in Vicky Sq

Ditton Dennis, but one thing occurred to me on the way to the Deep, what a difference it would have made if that bridge over Castle Street had been in place already instead of the shambles at the moment.

    True
I assume that's why they've put other small stuff on the route they've set out which takes you round and under the bridge instead, but you're going to go across Castle St at one end of it or the other regardless

Is it just the Made in Hull thing that's on every night this week, or are Zebedees Yard and The Deep things also on?

Just back from Hull - first time I've walked round town for quite awhile and what's there is really impressive, when it's finished it'll be brilliant. Despite being the grizzly old cynic that I am, Made In Hull certainly hit home, the sound track allied to the blitz scene is really powerful stuff. Really enjoyed it.

Went to Viccy square last night and thought the projections were fantastic, going again tomorrow with the family. Very proud.

Everything is on all week. We went again tonight and walking down Whitfriargate was like being at Hull fair. Never seen the \old town so packed.

I think the best thing about the whole experience for me was how busy the city centre was.

I wasn't annoyed at the traffic to get in or that we had a 40 minute wait for our table before. There was a real buzz about the town and everybody felt included. I haven't felt that in Hull in a long time.

Yeah thought that ...great footfall but very few people in the bars down Princes Dock side. Must be frustrating for them.

It was packed everywhere, really enjoyed it, despite it being ****ing freezing.

I was stood in Zebedees Yard reading the stuff on the pillars and I said to the missus, Rick's got a credit, he'll be well chuffed.

Missus said, I don't know who the hell Rick is, voice behind us says 'it's me'.

    Small world. <laugh>

I want to see the stuff at Hull Uni I saw the Leonardo stuff at Ferens and couldn't get over how brilliant it was, I am not an artist myself but to get to see all of artistry under one roof is a once in a lifetime chance, and for free. Mind you I want to take in as much of this C. O. C. stuff as I can as I certainly won't get another chance.
