If Ehab wanted to be a clever **** he'd slash the prices to a fiver to welcome the new manager.

Get yourself there. We all want the arseholes out of the club and by what's happened in the last 24 hours or so I would say it won't be too long.

    Scabs everywhere.

Makes me laugh when people say they want to 'support the lads' the place is like a ****ing morgue, turning up and sitting in silence does not constitute 'support'.

People also get older or take their kids/wife's and girlfriends to the games.
When you are a young late teens or twenties match days are everything meet up with your mates beers defend your City/Town..
My days are over too much responsibility now but this is why I prefer away days much better atmosphere and a feeling of belonging.
    We are Hull.

It's got ****-all to do with supporting the new manager - its about raising awareness nationally about the two ****s who own the club and what they're doing to it - anyone attending is implying their behaviour is ok - it's not

    Can I make a suggestion?

I approve of the boycott and have committed to giving ticket value to charity, even though I can't be there anyway. Over a year ago I boycoted home games, but realised the futility, so now I attend what I want, when I want ...

... but is there a really superb tactical opportunity for the Trust?

Declare approval of the mew manager and the way in which it's ben done and cancel the boycott, encourage everyone to get behind the new man. There will be other opportunities to boycott, but this is a very rare opportunity to raise your game and rise above the tit for tat of Allam World.

I think there is much more to win than there is to lose - this is unexpected and no loss of face could possibly be passed to the Trust for making a U-Turn

I accept time is short, but use the HDM, radio and social media, it is possible.

    :emoticon-0148-yes:
I endorse this suggestion wholeheartedly.:emoticon-0148-yes: Great post.

Silva is already on record saying he wouldn't have taken the job had he (& his back-up staff) not felt they could accomplish the task at hand - namely bring about survival in the PL. That alone deserves recognition by supporters, meaning max. attendance at the Swansea game...his first...as a statement of confidence in him & his team. Silva et al will clearly recognize the importance of backing them on that mission through supporter participation. He will also be aware of the supporters resentment of the owners' antagonistic treatment of the supporters. He will have sympathy with that supporter sentiment and should not be punished for the errors of others (current owners).
If indeed new owners are in the background, engineering these latest changes, what better way can supporters encourage them to go through with the plan than by endorsing their choice of player management changes by attending the debut match of the new manager.
The players would get a hell of a boost from the highest level of vocal support too.
As you suggest, a great opportunity to show the true meaning of support and hammer home the discontent of what has gone on before.

I agree with everything you've said, but the key thing is for the Trust to take a very public and very powerful grip on the moral high ground. It's a given for future dealings.

Just listening to the European football show on 5 live, sound like Valencia are in a worse state than our club, this Peter Lim isn't putting any money for players into the club, and it is going down hill fast. The fans are revolting. Must be hard to take as they used to be the 3rd best team in Spain.

Alternatively, HCST to use all available media access, and direct correspondence if possible, to reassure Silva that the boycott has nothing to do with the team or manager but is designed to demonstrate the high level of member's dissatisfaction with the current owners.

Sitting in silence. Have you been to the last few home games? The atmosphere has definitely improved, people are getting behind the team and it has been very enjoyable.

Yes. But it seems a bit ingenuous. Of the boycott stays then just crack on.
