Phelan's signings in the summer transfer window were not inspiring or good. Allam's could not afford to back his judgment again. Silvia will be judged by the players he brings in and of course the results.
I'm not sure we'll need that many wins. 7 or 8 wins and a few draws could be enough. There's a lot of poor teams in this league that we're scrapping with.
We don't need ten at all. I don't doubt that this year it may be a high points total but we have 13 points currently. I think realistically 7-8 will be enough with a couple of draws. Its not impossible as Leicester proved not so long ago, although it depends on if we will spend money and purchase the right players. Realistically I think we are down, but don't quash all hope just yet.
I wonder if the Allams are trying to build bridges, else they'd have briefed him to call us Tigers/Hull City Tigers.
Just what I thought, speaks well, English is good and called us by our correct name. So far what is there not to like.
I think the damage has been done. It'd be nice to win some more games and at least look like we belong in the top flight. They're going to have to be very good signings to come in and make an instant impact. Who knows how other teams will fare, but I think the winless run we are on may ultimately be our downfall.
