I dislike Spurs as much as you mate (although I have no issue with NSIS as he can have a football discussion) but I guess that was my point as Arsenal and thee Mancheater clubs aren't looking great atm so either they will start to get themselves together and Spurs will bottle it or could end up finishing above the teams mentioned about. What I was getting at is that I don't think they'll just finish 4th, I think it'll be second or 5th/6th depending on the big boys
You have to make your players believe it's possible, despite what you may think privately. If the manager doesn't show faith, he won't get the response he needs from his players.
Totally. If Liverpool continue as they are, Utd remain in current form and City get their **** together. Throw in Arsenal who can suprise anyone, its a tough league.
No mate, the whole point of the thread is to demonstrate your obsession. For me that was 10 minutes work in between having a cuppa Suck it up gobshaite.
Look at us last season though, it took until we physically got 40 points for Ranieri to stop saying that and until about 5 games from the end until he publicly entertained winning. Clearly what was happening behind the scenes was installing belief though. Personally I feel it puts less pressure on so its pressure vs belief I suppose
Arsenal always get top 4. I'm quite worried for Man City (refuse to call them city as they aren't the only ones) although the quality players should see them through
We didn't lose any game against them last year. And even the draw against them only mathematically confirmed what was bloody obvious by then.
You can't be that thick, more likely deliberately provocative? To spell it out for you anyway, I will not refer to them as just city but as Man City as to refer to them as just city makes out like they are the only club who are called City. Does that make sense to you?
@commachio1 As a matter of interest, what is the significance of the Doctor Martin boots? Were you a skinhead thug in your youth?
A reference for the teenagers, but I picture him as the Dick Emery character - "Dad, I fink I got it wrong again"
Indeed, they played very well. They even carried Kane, who was strangely anonymous. To be fair to Chelsea, it was a cracking game all round and they also played well, just not quite as well as Spurs.
Hope HIAG & Cube are having some sense like you do. I predicted 8th for you preseason. 6th is not far away from there. 6th is a good position for you with the resources & talent you have got
Didn't you predict a Chelsea win last night, Candyman? You're not very good at predicting things, are you?
