They're not growing on trees at a price we have been able to afford, which is what confused me when Bruce said he was unsure what formation the 2015/16 would utilise, then bought in players that never really suited either formation - we are still lumbered to a point. Let's see what happens next.
The point I'm making is that the über bell end in charge of our club( who Patsy would nosh nosh off given the chance) has the capability to **** up anything at anytime. I doubt the foreign press know just how much of a moron Ehab is and probably don't know about his business acumen. Only the naive would think he couldn't **** it up. It's all looking to be on track but like I say, there's always time for daft lad to throw in a clause that makes the new kid walk away.
Agreed, my breath is well and truly held until after thís appointment is confirmed, even then I think Ehab will do his utmost to **** things up afterwards due to his seeming sheer stupidity. He has plenty of form after all.
Jake's done well in defence but we need him more in midfield at the moment. He's played well for the last 5-6 games. When he first stepped back into midfield having helped out in defence it seemed like we'd broken him. He's back to playing well, I wouldn't want to lose his midfield endeavour - personally.
Call me a miserable, pessimistic old frigger but I wouldn't be shocked if Pennock had to take charge for a few games because Silva decides it's not for him.
No, not Walsh. This fella was a computer techie. If you've ever seen moneyball - that's the way they used to sign players. Data profiling.
I see that, but his spell in defence was our strongest, I think, without looking it up. We do have a wealth of midfielders and Harry who can rampage. I think the Davis - Dawson partnership has always been iffy.
Switch Jake and Harry...AND put Jak back in goal where he belongs for the rest of the season. Get our GA average down to 1 per game and get Abel back to play off Mbob up front and we can stay up with Silva in charge. We are good enough to overtake Swansea, Sunderland, Palace, and Boro if we play our best players in their best positions.
It also coincided with Jakupovic in goal, which I think had more to do with it. Davies and Dawson were perfectly fine last season in the Championship together and have been fine in spells this season.
