Very poor match. Hazard alonso dave pedro costa and luiz been very poor. Costa worked hard but constantly offside. Alonso losing the ball all the time alongside pedro. Hazard has been the most disappointing. He had chances to run but most disappointingly he hasnt turned up in any big matches this year. Again hes missed 2 sitters. 1 at the beginning of each half. Luiz hasnt been bad defensively but his long balls today have constantly given the ball away. Dave been shredded by alli today. Oh well we move on. We needed willian and fab to play. The loss against the scum is a blessing in disguise in my book, runs can't go on for ever and you could see in the match against stoke it was having a baring on our performance. We get up brush ourselves off and look forward to the next game with no cross to carry.
Well done to Spurs, they smacked our bums tonight, and to an extent we invited it. We could and probably should have gone at them flat out, instead of playing for the draw, which is how we looked to me. All that did was make ourselves look ordinary. Very ordinary for the 2 goals. We obviously need reinforcing in midfield and at the back. Good as the back 3 have been, there is still a disorganisation around the goalmouth that needs addressing. And we need more creativity in midfield, but creativity with strength and speed. If Kante is off is game, as he was tonight, the front men get nothing. Anyway, something for Conte to ponder and surely he will see and fix what needs fixing. Now , how to face the Spud son in law !!!!!
