No I said it was stupid to take down N.I or Union Flags, it was not stupid to take down paramilitary flags and I at no stage showed any support for those thugs that were rioting.

No I said it was unwise to take Union Flags down in unionist areas without asking any of the locals but never did I give legitimacy to those who rioted. I'm pretty sure I did and have called them thugs. Trying to get points across by bombing, bricking and bottling people, simply does not work. Most sensible people realise that from an early age.
