Laughable really. I know it's not as simple as this but some absolute nobody playing for Brentford worth double of Jermaine Defoe in their eyes.
Well I think he`s very sweet. He really wants us to win relegation so we can catch them up. Bless. I seem to remember reading somewhere that the West Ham fans gave Defoe a mountain of abuse to the point where he was glad to get away. Don`t know if it`s true but if so it`s a damn good reason for him to not want to go back. Another point on the possible relegation clause that if we are relegated he can leave. Folks seem to be thinking it`s automatic. Not so imo. The point being maybe he can leave, not that he has to. Different thing altogether.
Supposedly a decent player but I must confess to not watching many Brentford games this season so I've no idea myself!
Plenty been linked with him this window already, think West Brom and Newcastle also. Never really heard of him either.
They clearly want Defoe as they are flapping about going down themselves. I wonder what the highest transfer for a 34 Year Old is? Not that I want us to break it!
Keep it shorter pops, 'yeah' would have done, been up since 4am sorting the missus out and no, nowt like that.. I would love to be relegated, not my club but me, 3 months out would be bliss..
I think the West Ham position of name your price is just a publicity stunt for Gold and Sullivan.....full of p*ss and wind....
So he wants to leave Sunderland to go to a better club in order to make amends for leaving West Ham in order to go to a better club. Seems legit.
All seems smoke and mirrors to me being caused by West Ham to unsettle Defoe..... Going to tell "The Sun" that one of my friends spoke to Payet....apparently he found out that he has a long lost ancestor from AD900 that was brought up in Hendon so he has unfinished business with Sunderland. He likes it at West Ham but it would ease his conscious if he could move to Sunderland and help us escape relegation. You heard it hear first.....
He inferred it an interview a few years ago. Personally I'd love him to come back, but I think we missed the boat on that 2 years ago when he was in Canada. I can't see us paying the necessary price for him, he's worth maybe 10m at a push, but you'd be mad to sell him for double that as you won't be able to replace him. That said, how long can you rely on a 34 yr old to keep you in the EPL? As to Payet, you obviously didn't note that we're in roughly the same situation as his unfinished business with Marseille.
That's why i logged off after a couple of nibbles, can't be arsed with tossers like that at the minute mate.
