Well, as usual there's a lot of euphoria about this new Radrizzani guy. But lets look at the facts, he's had all day now and where's the new players? Is ER bought back? Are we top?

Radrizzani is clearly another con man

And he's Italian, that's part of the EU.

    Radrizzani out!

Well it looks like LeedsofLondon was spot on, Cellino set to sell the remaining 50% when we know what division we will be playing in next season, obviously a higher price agreed if we are in the PL.

Strange thing is my wife asked me if I was happy, I said yes but I wasn't overjoyed, it was more a shrug of the shoulders guess so attitude. Part of me thinks Cellino hasn't done a thing wrong this season, we are looking good, we have a good squad, a good coach everything is too perfect.

Part of me refuses to get excited after Bates, GFH, Cellino (previous seasons) then part of me is saying would Cellino have been his usual self destructive self IF this takeover wasn't always in the pipeline.

I think I am glad, I too am more wait and see what happens... Again though all these rumours flying around almost daily and I believe it was only Leeds London that called it the 50% remainder based on end of season position which would make sense on why the long delay.

All very valid points. I wonder, would rad prefer we just miss out on promotion so he'd buy remaining 50% dramatically cheaper and then invest heavy in the summer when it's solely his club. I suppose, given his first introduction to the club was by Dalglish and has his appetite wet at being told of the clubs massive potential, he surely must be prepared for some serious investment. On a real positive note, the wallies must be mightily pissed off at all our good fortune

While he may save a bit of cash buying the club but not the £140 million we get in the prem.

Won't bother the wallies though, their owner has promised to invest another £2.50p

I wondered the same myself then I paused and thought is that how Leeds supporters now think, thanks a lot GFH, Cellino and Bates, you've killed a lot of trust between you.

I would say, if we are near which we are it would be all out for promotion, yes he would be paying more but he would also be gaining a lot himself and who knows what might happen next season. Looking at his background, scrolling back through twitter, he seems a decent guy with no obvious ghosts.

Fingers crossed we have someone decent to take us forward

    Is it good news ?...hopefully.

What I don't want to happen is be sold on to some faceless Chinese investors. Same as I wouldn't want to be like Man City or Liverpool or for that matter Man Utd.

A club needs owners who are passionate about football...about winning, about glory !

Also I think history will be kinder to Cellino than his current standing amongst fans...for me he has achieved something which virtually everyone else would not or could not have taken on. Namely ridding us (apart from payments to come) of GFH, who I am reluctant to state my true feelings about given this is a public forum and I do fly through Dubai around 4 times a year.

And who sold us to the worst owners in our history ? Mr Kenneth Bates who wrote the manual about how to milk money from a football club until GFH proved him amateurish in comparison.

We are in the best position on and off the field since even before relegation from the PL and some have forgotten or lost sight of that. The only person responsible for that, who albeit achieved it sometimes in spite of himself is Massimo Cellino.

So the jury is very much still out and we await with interest future developments but at least now the hope is genuine.

Think his standing amongst most fans is pretty high now TBH,TTGM never had more than a few hundred loons and most can see how much Celino has brought us forward. If it wasn't for his away from football antics would be happy for him to stay.

I always thought something might have been happening simply because Cellino was so unusually quiet and not interfering. The other thing I saw reported was the hold up was due to Cellino trying to move the goalposts and wanting to keep his stake only if we got promoted. I've no idea if this is the case with the deal gone through.
I was also under the impression that any further investment in the club came with the proviso that the charge put on the club by gfh (17 million from memory) had to be settled but I could be wrong about that. Be nice if they are gone completely with the club no longer owing them anything. The new guy has a good sporting portfolio in his businesses but let's wait and see how his plans unfold.

I'm with Ristac And not sure his behaviour was restricted by the NDA as part of the deal. Seems more than coincidental his erratic nature stopped when the takeover got mooted.

hes banned in 3 months for 18 months so he is history now. Yes been quiet due to Nda and whatever he was doing behind the scenes but the best 6 months of bis reign at the club.

Rumor mill be all about buying Messi now
