Well this was bloody strange and uncomfortable to watch! Reminds me a lot of Jose here!! http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/38492059
I'm no accountant, but as 1950 or RER (I think) predicted on another thread, 'there may be trouble ahead' http://norwichcity.myfootballwriter...-facts-post-2018-things-could-get-very-bleak/
Warren Hill @duncanedwards8 All my bets are screwed but it's almost worth it to see this kind of almighty flouncing. #Arsenal
Marcus Evans unveils his 5 point plan for ITFC. If no 5 doesn't make a teeny bit of wee come out I'll be amazed http://www.eadt.co.uk/sport/poll_do...ink_mick_mccarthy_will_adhere_to_it_1_4835164
Hull City @HullCity please log in to view this image | The Club can announce this evening that it has parted company with Head Coach Mike Phelan. More details to follow...
Hull sack Mike Phelan. Edit. I posted without looking and see Cromer already posted about this, my apologies.
What is football coming to. Just like The Swansea boss. What the hell was the point in ever appointing him in the first place!?!
Well, it's in the Star. So your guess is as good as mine. http://www.dailystar.co.uk/sport/football/575089/Hull-sack-Mike-Phelan
After not being all that impressed with our link to him a few weeks ago, interest is hotting up for him! https://www.theguardian.com/football/2017/jan/03/watford-scott-hogan-offer-8m-west-ham
I always felt it was a risky option appointing Whelan. Still at least IF our board EVER decide to dismiss/sack AN, there is a ready-made cheap replacement!!! Seems utterly ridiculous and I'm just hopeful that we're not interested.
Got to be a reason many Premiership clubs are chasing him. I've not seen a lot of him to warrant the price tag or Premiership interest. The scouts must all see something. If he's worth an 8M risk in the Premiership, he more the likely would have been worth the risk to us, desperate for anther striker who can finish. Can't compete, they are interested now anyway, so it doesn't matter
I had a smile when I read the BBC headline saying that "Birmingham's owners prefer selfies with Zola over Rowett". I wonder whether their fans prefer the results under Zola, including the latest 1-3 home defeat by Brentford, as they slide down the table. Foreign owners anyone?
Just to prove what a 'funny game' football is, just how did Newcastle contrive to be doubled by Blackburn this season, losing 0-2 at home and 1-0 away last Saturday?
Yes, but to redress the balance, I bet if you ask any fans of Leicester City if they object to Thai owner Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha landing his helicopter in the centre circle to get to matches at his club, they'd merely scoff at you One size does NOT fit all and generalisations like this are wide of the mark
