I'd only be #worried if it were due to good football rather than referee mistakes

But your margin for error has been shrinking, haven't you noticed?
How long will that margin for error last at the current rate?

Points earned at the start of the season have the same value as ones earned in the 'business end of the season'.

Since 2004 the team top at Christmas have won the title 9 out of 12 seasons. Which pretty much shows that the 'business end of the season' is a myth perpetuated by the media.

Where am I being pedantic?, I ain't said we're gonna win it but you've busted a blood vessel trying to convince us Utd can.<laugh>

All things being equal, at this moment we're in a far better position to catch them than Utd yet you're dissing our chances but promoting Utd's.:)

No matter which form table you look at (last 5, 10 or 15 games) we are in the top 3. Which is why I'm not too worried.

He's lying Diego, he wouldn't know good football if he was watching Brazil in 1970... but referee mistakes, he's a connoiseur <laugh>

    My take on this is:

    1. It is Chelsea's title to lose. They are so far ahead so as to be super favourites.

    2. The only way that they can be stopped is if the top 6 make it their priority to take points off them, even drawing with them sacrificing their own ambitions. That is when playing Chelsea the priority is not to lose. A win will be a bonus.

    3. Then in addition one of the top 6 must not only beat Chelsea but also have an incredible run of wins to the end of season.

Hopefully it is us but it is almost the same for everyone else. if Chelsea win their matches against the top 6 then we can all watch them lift the title at the end of the season.

Mourinho is hoping that 2 and 3 will happen and that they will be that team with the run of wins. Unlikely but just about possible.

Yes, but its hard to say, for example, whether our draw against Sunderland is 2 dropped or 1 gained until we look at the final table. On paper drawing away to a relegation threatened side isn't great but in the context of us having little to no rest time between the huge City game and the Sunderland one, the travelling up to Sunderland it actually wasn't all that bad, albeit disappointing that we ran out of steam in the end and conceded late on.

We're not going to win it tbh, but I'm happy with the progress we're making.

Talking of stats.... Chelsea win %

    August 100%
    September 0%
    October 100%
    November 100%
    December 100%

    ****ers <ok>
