The problem in a position like yours is that no matter how much you've won over the last 6 games to catch up you could drop points the next two, as an example, and be back to square one. Playing catch up is always tough which is why getting off to a good start is always vital in the premier league.

 

Mate, sorry to be big-headed, but when your IQ is in the 160's you really don't need to have everything written down to remember them. Conversely , I imagine you have to look like a Maori warrior when you nip to Tesco's to get the weekly shop.

Do you want to jinx us? FFS the mancs have moved from a gap of 10 points from 4th to possibly 0 in a matter of 6 matches. If they keep winning and the results fall their way as they are bound to do with matches between top 5 teams then they could be within striking distance. We have to recognise that their 6th position now is completely different to their 6th a couple of months ago.

 

Always? Plenty of evidence to say that's not necessarily true. And that would only apply if we were looking somehow to go striaght to the top. Right now it will be top 4 which is perfectly realistic, and then once in the mix, the chance to go for a title becomes possible.

 

They're not far away from their eastern Europe jaunts in the EL and perpetual Thursday/Sunday cycle of games.

Chelsea could lose their next 5 and totally balls up the record run, Liverpool could lose their next 3 and find themselves in 6th.
There is always the possibility and problem of losing.

 

Perhaps, but that's not what you said. I can quote it again if you like... "which is why getting off to a good start is always vital in the premier league." There is plenty of evidence to suggest getting off to a good start is not vital. That's why the term "business end of the season" was coined.

As for our 13 points deficit, I've already explained that in my previous post which you've ignored, but that's a completely different point I was making to the one I picked you up on.

Without being nasty, some of the thickest people I have met have had high IQs.

 

But because of our 5 point advantage over you in 6th place we'd still be in touching distance, if you lose the game against us you'll be 8 points off us.

End of the day if you lose people will eventually catch up with you but because of our good start we've got a bigger margin for error than you lot have.

 

You should try thinking a little harder then I've already said Wenger and Pep are not that different to us from the top. Maybe try reading Page?

As for Kloppy, well we're the same distance from you as you are from Chelsea (and they have a game in hand). Right now us overtaking you is looking far more likely than you overtaking them. So I think he's just as deluded
