It's about respect. I know people who've dealt with them before and it comes down to respect, it's in Assem's culture. They think we've disrespected them, hence they are refusing to do anything with us. We're now persona non grata. Nothing to them. If they want to sell, it's not because we want them to, it's because they want to. If it means they lose money then so be it. I hope they aren't going to willingly lose money, that would make no sense, but apparently it's not beyond them. I'm not saying this is what's happening, just what I've been told by people who have dealt with them before. The word 'respect' apparently comes up a lot with them in dealings. As in, they physically say it.
I was told he had a speedboat delivered to Melton recently. Now the person telling me this couldn't be described as an expert in the field, so I can't say if it's the type you coulda won on bullseye or something a bit more luxurious. Either way, it's still capable of doing the job you're alluding to.
You're not the only one...Quite a few have been saying exactly this for some time...Get back into the premier league then do a Oysten family or in other words do a Blackpool to rub it in the faces of those who dared to question the direction they were seeking to take the club.
I haven't studied business finance for years, and am totally confused. Presently assume Hull Tiggers still owe Allam Generrators say £50 mill. However Allams own them both. If they are put into admin, Allam Generators would only receive a percentage, say £5 mill (is it 10p in the £?). So Allams gets £5 mill back. Hull Tiggers (eg Allams)would only have to pay out £5m to Allam Generators... as well as 10p in the £ to all other creditors. Its robbing Peter to pay Paul. Isn't it? And maybe I left it too late to lay off the wine?
Didn't the Premier League change its rules on parachute payments to stop another club doing an Oyston? Sell your players and pay yourself results in no parachute monies according to someone on CI.
Obviously would have to sell players to make cuts But whats determined as assett stripping? Last time we sold brady, chester etc for £25m Obviously if relegated we'd have to once again sell Is it if no squad strengthening happens only sales?
If he asset stripped ie trousered 25 million this window and saved on wages then they could ask for less for the club. They may not need the parachute cash
We don't own the stadium, or the land surrounding it. Our training ground is a portacabin, our attendances are plummeting and will only get worse the more asset-stripping takes place - the players and our league position are the only valuable assets at this moment in time. He'd be f'in bonkers to asset-strip, as he'd then never even get a £30m offer for us.
Some top earners will be sold regardless if relegated its a cost cutting measure all clubs take, its harsh to call it assett stripping unless extreme So if he sells snodgrass, maguire, mason etc and recoups £25m its not really assett stripping as we did it last time we were relegated Butttt if he does do this and recoups £25m in transfer fees and however much the parachute payments amount too could he then deduct this from the asking price say for example he wants £70m due to relegation he gets £25m player sales plus £25m parachute payment then agrees to sell for £10m -20m Could see this scenario happening
Hull City Tigers Ltd owe Allamhouse Ltd circa £80m. If Hull City Tigers Ltd goes into admin and pays it's creditors 10p in the pound, then Allamhouse Ltd (i.e. the Allams) lose £72m of their investment. Which is why it obviously won't happen.
As I'm sure many will have noticed, we're now 3rd Jan and there's been no 'sale discussions have been suspended during the transfer window' announcement. I believe that's because sale discussions haven't been suspended.
