I don't constantly harp on about it. Today's the first time I have commented on and I'm already wishing I hadn't as it bores me ****less....
It was just in time wasn't it! We were in a position facing the Ferens wall but checking the City Hall, which looked great during the blitz! I'm off back again tomorrow night with daughter and want to watch it from another angle!! I got something in my eye (and throat) at the end.
Pron. ''bezzick", used by some rural types themselves to describe their less sophisticated neighbours. Not sure how widespread it is.
I've watched it a couple of times, and even though they're similar, it's well worth a look from different perspectives. I watched it so I could see Ferens for the clearer images, and City Hall for the burning building and Hull Fair effect, and then watched Maritime Buildings. Each one brilliant in their own way. The thing on the Deep was good too. Trying to work out if things were actually there and the tiles were moving, or just made by light. Likewise, the art on the gable end near Lion and Key. I'm well impressed. I hope they bring a video out showing the design stages.
I can't really recall them to be honest. I've had a quick look on google and can't find much similar.
So was that you distracting us by sprinting around the statue in a big circle? I was reminiscing about the irony of Deano's image getting plastered on the City Hall around about the same spot we watched him plastered, climbing on the balcony wall there after the first play off win. I also remembered you accosting a certain Peter Taylor at the corner of the same building a few years earlier!
Some really really pathetic comments directed towards the East Riding. Shame that a few seem determined to direct a thread giving a positive imagine ornate Hull into bashing the rest of the ER.
didnt anyone get a map from the volunteers? there were 5 different movies shown on walls. 1 city hall, ferens gallary and maritime museum 2 down whitefriargate 3 high street 4 myton bridge 5 blackfriargate/ the deep 5 different movies
