If we go down they'll lose loads of money anyway, why wouldn't they just do that?

Our recent history is full of wasted opportunities. Obviously I'll be delighted if we're sold any time soon, but it'll be another massive shame if we're already relegated by then.

It really isn't easy to get into the Premier League, and won't be easy to come back. It seems to be much easier to stay in than it is to get into. With the squad we were promoted with we should have had no problem at all. Far better equipped than Burnley or Boro at the outset, but to say they've overtaken us would be an understatement.

We should have kicked on when we qualified for Europe and not looked back. Having redeemed ourselves for that ****-up and got promoted again, it's incredible that we look like pissing it away again.

A new start under new owners in the Championship wouldn't be the worst thing, but we shouldn't assume it'll be easy to get back to the PL.

    Definatly not
But with some good youngsters coming through and if we can keep a strong spine to the team despite having to make cuts, with new owners and abit of funding and investment we could be competitive

All ifs buts and maybes, keeping positive though

All the money the club owes is to the Allams, if they put the club into administration, the only people who wouldn't get paid is them and you think they might do that? You really need to lay off the wine.

Which makes their current strategy even more baffling & bizarre.
I just cannot understand what's ehab is trying to achieve - a premier league club is worth more than championship club. Simples, so fight to retain that status

To which they are no doubt going to reply "I don't want to buy a Championship team". We are stuck with the Allams - as supporters we must make the best of an undoubtedly bad job.

Depends on how cheap they can buy us and how much money they have. If they only have £130 million then spending it all on our current squad doesn't make a lot of sense. Buying us in July for £30 million with £100 million to invest in the squad may be a more attractive proposition.

But ehab wouldn't sell for £30 million, that would be a significant loss (£50 mill?). Never going to happen

Never say never. If we get relegated Ehab will have to decide whether he wants to go through all this again, and possibly again and again. He may think £30 million is better than nothing.

Someone posted Adam Pearson's radio interview earlier on this thread. He said, something like, its a fair price for a Premier League club but we don't know if City will be relegated which may mean no sale unless the price is "reasonable".

In my original post I said the future depends on Ehab's leadership. He's the only one who can get us out of this position.

The squad needs investment, is he going to provide it and where will the money come from?

The club off the pitch is a mess, is he going to try and put it back together again?

I'm still optimistic that the Tiger Nation can be united and with some good business done in January we can be a Premier League team next season. Equally we could be relegated with crowds of 8 to 10 thousand next season. The ball is firmly in his court.

He might sell for £30M at some point if he has assets stripped the club if we go down, sell Roberson, Snodgrass, Livermore, Mason, Huddlestone, Maguire et al, take back at much as he can from the parachute payments, so covered most of the debt then sell.

I was talking to somebody who knew Robert Maxwell. He said that whenever Maxwell got an offer to buy one of his companies he didn't want to go through with the deal because he thought they must know something that he didn't.

That turned out well. Has Ehab got a yacht, or at least access to one? Please say yes.

I believe he has a marine diesel generator-powered one which he uses to ram the yellow rubber ducks in his bath every Thursday night.

    You sure......??!!!!

You have an asset that's worth £ms, but don't give a TO$$ that the value of the asset is dropping like a stone. First rule of business. Falling asset = sell it before no one wants to buy..How those Muppets ever become rich is beyond me.. Unless its about asset stripping.

They've already recouped millions in interest payments.
I think they would rather let the club fold than sell it, out of pure spite for us, the FA and the Council.
