Brexit looking good as manufacturing output begins 2017 on 30-month high

The closely-watched Markit/CIPS UK Manufacturing purchasing managers' index (PMI) said output hit 56.1 in December, up from 53.6 in November and above economists' expectations of 53.3.

Brexit fails again, what will we do.

Brexit hasn't happened yet Kustard. You still seem to be oblivious of the basics.

Export driven. One of the few upsides to a weaker currency. The downsides will be felt in higher inflation and increased domestic prices and costs.

Im sure they will soon post that A50 has not started yet and **** will hit the fan soon afterwards, but not before WW3 starts or an emergency budget has been done by the chancellor.

Its a bit of a stand off, but you must make hay when the sun shines, as the pound will raise this year (Maybe)

Firstly, if that's true, then what was the point in posting it, especially with all of the censored bits?
Secondly, UB40's one of your favourite bands! <laugh> :emoticon-0140-rofl: <laugh>

If you knew that you were part of an absolutely **** show and had a way out, wouldn't you take it?
He probably doesn't want to ruin his reputation and have that as part of his legacy.

He's told them it'll take a decade to sort, they've ignored him and told him he's being a silly sausage

He's therefore told them to stick it up their arse

I'm not pretending to. Given you struggle to string three words together and take pride in not having a clue what's going on outside of the whites-only village, I was just a bit surprised to see you pretend to have a clue about this.

I figured as much. Given he was meant to be leaving this year anyway, it doesn't say much for those in charge. That March deadline is approaching fast.

Ken Clarke described May as a bloody difficult woman. It seems as though she's impossible to work with/for.

Well, when you say that experts shouldn't be listened to, I guess it's not much of a surprise when they **** off somewhere else! <laugh>
Don't worry though, I'm sure we'll bring in someone with equal experience. From abroad.

I see the EU is having to bail out the banks again to delay the collapse. Or rather, it's put the bill on the Italians, as the private sector wouldn't do it.

I'm sure it's no coincidence that the French and Germans have the most to lose.
