Karl Henry has been told he can leave QPR following a fall-out with boss Ian Holloway.

Henry has been ordered to train with Rangers’ development side and has been made available to other clubs.

The 34-year-old midfielder has been at QPR since 2013 and signed a one-year contract at Loftus Road in the summer.

He has made 118 appearances for the R’s since his arrival from Wolves.

He has been a proper servant to this club, played through the boo's and always done his job to the best of his (limited) ability. Good luck.

I have a feeling that some of the more experienced and/or thoughtful players may look at Holloway and think 'wtf?!!?' His unintentional David Brent impression in the behind the scenes version of the mannequin challenge thing was just creepy and cringeworthy.

A good, balanced but not popular, perspective. Went up in my estimation when he endured his own 'fans' jeering him and came through that to have a reasonable spell a couple of seasons back.
Agree re limited ability and sad to learn of any bust-up in that it might affect morale. Do we know why??

Reactions: Staines R's
Chery. Now Henry. Who is next. Not Luongo I hope.
My money is on Polter, unfortunately.

I don't think Luongo is one of the bad bunch as he was carrying out club duties on Saturday at the fanzone and club shop. The group of players who have suddenly fallen off the radar with their sudden and mysterious injuries would indicate that Polter maybe one of them. He was on twitter congratulating the team after both wins however. but then so was Chery.

Can't see what all the hate for Henry is about. He was nowhere near as bad as some make out and mostly did his job without fuss.
But it's always been the way of R's fans since I've been going at least, for there to be 1 player in the side that's bullied and booed by our own fans, however they play.

He was/is unbelievably ****.

There should be no shortage of players that could fill his role. That reflects the limitation of the role and his ability also of course.

Polter has tweeted after the last two wins congratulating the team, so maybe/hopefully not.

Edit: Didn't see Nines' post until after posting!
I really hope Polter is just out with his back injury, I can't see him as a bad egg, always works his arse off. If he goes we better bring Crouch in (doubtful though I know).

there are reasons we are one of the worst teams for goals scored in this division. Sideways, backwards, anywhere but forward passing Henry is one of them

Would love to know what the Henry row was about, must've been bad as Ollie was very vocal in his support a few weeks back.

Agree with this. He is much maligned. People who booed him should hang their head in shame. No QPR player trying should ever be booed. I am sure he will find another club no problem.

Holloway asked him to pass the salt at the pre-match meal. Rather than give it to Holloway he gave it to Perch who gave it to Onuoha who gave it back to Henry who gave it to Smithies who then threw it thirty yards but out of Holloway'a reach so it all kicked off.
