I was listening to the radio earlier, and a few people were on, basically saying that studies show that the political landscape is changing, because people now have more access to information, and don't just have to swallow the versions fed by the 'experts' and presented by the main stream media.

Interesting how it coincides with the decline of groups that claim to be liberal or left leaning.

Time for true centrist politics, once the pendulum gets past its peak and backlash to the bullshit is over. Seems to be less and less gullibles still swallowing it, and more and more waking up when the scales fall off their eyes.

 

Not sure what that is supposed to be claiming tbh.
The new order seems more about people following who is more believable than who is right. And even an anti right agenda to try and make oneself feel superior.

Access to information seems to lead many away from the truth rather than towards it from what I can see. I'm currently fighting battles with people who beleive the trails from aeroplanes are a hallucinogenic drug called dihydrous oxide.

people believe whichever 'information' suits them, and ten d to side with the person who screams their bullshit the loudest, like Trump and Brexit. all I really heard during the debate from Brexiters was 'immigration, immigration, immigration' whilst they bitched about their lot as they played their PS4's on flat-screen HDMI TV's and crammed their faces with big-macs. So many lies were swallowed hook, line and sinker because, well, 'bloody foreigners'. The jobs were 'stolen' by robots and computers, something which will now accelerate, and most of the jobs the 'bloody foreiners' do are jobs that British people turn their noses up at and refused to do. As to the main stream media, it's owned by the elite and, for the main, espouses their ideals. People aren't waking up at all, they may have taken the scales off their eyes, but it was just so they could poke them out with forks.
