You've just contradicted yourself mate. You admit you have the same squad as last season bar a couple of players and that same squad took you down???? Take the blinkers off mate, your current squad is nowhere near good enough to survive in the premier.
Should read their board tonight, some of them even questioning Rafa the gaffer. At the moment they're struggling in the fizzy pop league so if they come up (which I'm still expecting them to) they need a huge overhaul IMO.
They have a decent enough squad for the FP league mate, if they think they can get promotion and just supplement that squad with a few signings then they are more deluded than i thought they were. PS: I never go on their board, they don't interest me in the slightest, ****ing unwashed, deluded scum ****s.
Now NUFC will invest the Sissoko money into automatic promotion rather than gearing up for Premier League.
Think 'struggling' is pushing it a touch. I've been surprised by how easily we found it for long periods of time but usually it's a bit of a dogfight to get promoted from so I'm not worried again just yet (after 2 games of the season I was worried). Don't really see where I contradicted myself I said we only lost a couple of players who were better than what we have but overall I think the team is better (players like Lascelles, Shelvey, etc. improving in small margins) but hey ho. I suspect we would sign a handful of players if we went up but it's all pie in the sky for now. The nature of rival fans, if we complain things are bad we get called deluded for having expectations which are too high and if we say things are fine we get called deluded for not accepting problems. Just the nature of the beast.
Fair enough, not exactly struggling in the grand scheme of things - meant more over the last 3/4 games struggled somewhat and in other games. (Wasn't me that said you had contradicted yourself, was someone else). Shelvey didn't bother his arse when he signed for you last Jan in the PL so not sure he'd be up to it this time round. Lascelles from what I've seen (granted not as much as yourself) isn't even your best CB in the squad.
