Jonny @jonnyshoegaze That's Tony Pulis' best result against #hcafc since he convinced us to pay Ibrahima Sonko's wages.
I said that after the Boro game I think it was, although it could have been after any game we've played recently! In fairness to Marshall, I say he's **** after every game & he concedes every game, but he does make some good saves, although basic for a keeper in most cases. He still has some confidence despite being put in the firing line, week in, week out by the inept manager. Unlike Dio who has been dropped for being ****, comes back v Palace, played well, scored a goal, dropped again, then couldn't hit a cow's arse with a banjo!
Burnsey said to MP at the start of the interview, I guess the last thing you said to them when they came out for the 2nd half don't give anything away for the first 5 or 10 minutes stay tight. MP basically said yes. Doing that Psychologically they come out and sit back and invite the opposition onto them, get 2 early corners and concede. That for me is the wrong thing to say, after a performance in the first half, whereby we were the much better side, they should be told to come out on the front foot again from the start.
God yeh that's was bad. I remember reading a match report in the guardian, after he'd left us, blaming him for about 4 goals. It was hilarious the way the reporter described him
I keep saying this, and Phelan keeps selecting Marshall. It's so mind numbingly obvious that it's worth trying to address the fact that we're regularly conceding three goals a game, but you just know that the first name on Phelan's teamsheet is Marshall's. I'm now of the opinion that Phelan is either a totally stubborn ****er - let's face it it took him long enough to go 3-5-2 when it was obvious that 4-5-1 wasn't working - or just that he's plain ****ing stupid!
Have you never considered the fact that you're plain ****ing stupid? Because I think that's closer to the real reason why Marshall keeps getting picked.
what's to discuss, the players signed a contract which had a fixed term plus an option for the club to declare by a certain date - the club declared that option - either the player gave them the option when they signed or they got something for it - either way it's part of their existing contract - they all knew that the club could declare that option by the end of 2016 - the option would have to be declared in writing - it was
Yes absolutely, that's how a business works. You hire the right personnel for the right jobs and the business is a success. That's why I'll always give the Allam's credit for managing to bring Bruce here, shame they pushed him away by acting like idiots.
No not full credit because that overlooks the contribution of hundreds of individuals, however, they deserve a lot of credit for getting Bruce to come here and providing funds for transfers which made it all possible.
I'm no fan of the Allams's but it was the best thing they ever did. How much they knew about what they were doing is up for debate.
Our success was down to Steve Bruce. Our lack of success this season is down to the Allams not bringing an experienced manager in and giving said manager the money to spend as MP never bought well Allams out Phelan out But Allams will stay and so will Phelan and we are going down Either way most of us will still support Hull City including those not going to games. City Till I Die Just my thoughts of course.
So the Allams took advice from someone to bring us Brucie, despite us being told they never listen to anyone else. Patently we've been lied to by certain fans with their own nasty little agendas. They're also responsible for and to be credited with delivering some of the best moments in our history. Thanks John and Aggron, we seem to agree on something.
