The vermin growing week by week with large crowds backing them
Wagner at Hudds got them playing very well
SWFC still in and round play offs
Can't see them any of these going up automatic but should all be in playoff or thereabouts.
Even Barsley doing very well with their home town manager.
In League One, the Blunts are also looking a strong bet for promo and Bradford can't be ruled out via playoffs.
All of these except Barsley getting bigger crowds than us despite 3 PL promotions in the last 8 years.
If we're in the Championship next season, I reckon we'll get shown up no I'm sorry let me correct that...our present owners will get shown up.... for the catastrophic situation we find ourselves in.

Barsley are doing less well , not being able to go N to En.

Broadacres? Is that the name of the Psych unit , you'll be confined to ?

Sheff u took more to the cup semi than us, some of ours were waiting for the final.
All bigger clubs than us, apart from Barnsley.
    Hudd s historically not now.
Any success for any of them and they will get bigger crowds than us.

Not sure how much further he can take them. They are nowhere near the finished article and often struggle against poor teams. Will the club back him with transfers?

Thats why I think he might be a good fit for us with new owners. If that ever happens... If the worst happens, we could be in an enviable position financially next season. With the good players he's brought on and the contacts he has he might fit the bill here and see the potential. His brief was to simply consolidate in the Championship, no realistic ambition for promotion and yet they're bang there and punching massively above their weight. We all have ideas on who might work of course...

A season of feisty, fierce, competitive Yorkshire derbies next season, is more attractive than struggling to beat WBA and Burnley every week IMO. We have been to the top table of English football, and I think I prefer fish and chips to caviar.

I'm hoping Scunthorpe and Sheff United come up, two decent away days.

If it wasn't for the shenanigans surrounding the owners, how many do you think we'd have next season anyway?

There's only 3 thousand or so stay aways.

I hope Scunthorpe come up, but despite knowing what you mean about Sheff Utd being a decent away day I'm afraid I could never find it in myself to wish their club anything but ill I'm afraid

And it can't make me a bad person...I already am one

It's wet blanket defeatists like you that make mediocrity a reality.

No one wants to be in the lower leagues apart from those who don't have the stomach or ambition to stay there.

Everyone else is trying to get promoted.

    Agreed and well said d.

Unless you want to play lower league and lose as often so you don't get promoted.

Who the **** wants that? If you do, go support a pub team.

You can enjoy it, though. I think that's his point. Nobody wants to be a perennial lower league team and given the choice I'd rather be in the PL every season, but relegation is made a tad more palatable when you know you have a couple of derbys to play in. Plus I love a good Tuesday night match.

I don't think they were moaning about who we were playing were they? Was it not because PL standard players were getting beaten and the football was a bit crap?
