With the problems around the country its understandable that our thoughts have taken us away from football but I think Saturdays game will go ahead so maybe its time to look ahead. Its only Tuesday and the police and government will want to stop the bother and get normal life back so how about we start and look at the team for Saturday. I think OâShea will make the bench at best so I am leaving him out. We will face threats on both wings and an ariel bombardment with Caroll, we also have a problem still at LW and its LW that gives me my major problem in deciding an the team. Anyway, taking all that into consideration my hunch, and thatâs all it is, would be a team of.... MIG ANTON...TURNER...BROWN..BARDO LARSSEN..CATTS..GARDNER..RICHARDSON SESS GYANIt was between Richo and Vaughn at LW for me, whatâs your team?
Don't see much alternative to that unfortunately. It'll be Ricco or Vaughan, or Bruce wants shooting if he persists with Colback out there.
Slight tweak to yours Cyprus, I think we'll have Vaughan at LW with Ricco at LB, Bardo RB and Brown & Bramble/Anton or Turner at CB. Reading what I've just put is more than a slight tweak!!!
I'm fully behind the lads but that team is not much (If any) improvement on last seasons, it looks very weak upfront still and slow in midfield, still I have to accept that we are still re-building and maybe get someone in before the window shuts.
I'm sorry but Turner is way off the pace at present and would be a liability if he plays. Anton is a far better option.
I think he was looking a bit out of sorts then did not get on at Hibs, think Turner is first choice Vaughn at LW no problem but Ricco concerns me at LB I liked Brown at CB and think it will be Turner

Normally he is. his perfomance at St james' was a utter disgrace, he was literally scared to go anywhere near Caroll.
Hope not, The thought of Downing up against Ferdinand is bad enough, without having to worry about possibly the best striker in the league.
Syd - I was listening to Steve Bruce on BBC radio Newcastle tonight and he was still saying that Richardsons best position is left back and that there is a shortage of players in that position for England. He also said that Richardson is happy to play there. So as Bruce sees it the competion for LB is Richardson and Bardsley
