Mbokani has some good hold up play in his locker actually. He's not going to score any with the way we play, but Mbokani is the reason player like Snodgrass and Livermore can get up the pitch before we've lost possession. And as for his passing, he put Diomande square on to make it 2-0. It was an excellent pass... except Dio forgot how to kick a ball at the worst moment and nothing came of it. Seems to happen a lot that. Constant scuffs, air shots, row Z shots, wrong decisions, head's always down, has his back to play a lot. Utter ****e. Not sure where Roo is, but for once i agree... this fella literally isn't anywhere near a striker's arsehole.
We lost because we didn't take our opportunities which we had in the first half. West Brom 5 shots on target 3 goals.
Begs the question why we looked so resilient and tight at the back when Jake had to play there when Dawson was out...
Dark day today, reminds me of the stuffing Newcastle dished out to us about 2 years ago, decent first half, calamitous defending and general clusterfuck followed by galling defeat. That 30 quid I stuck on us to come bottom will be looking nailed on if swans pick up with a new manager as we're doing **** all under this clown with these thundercunt owners.
And if we'd carried on like the first half?? We lost that game through poor organization and poor defending. Yes it'd be great to have two twenty million pound forwards to bring on but we don't so you cut your cloth accordingly. The owner is a whole other thread to piss poor organization and defending. Dawson needs to look at himself for those corners.
Time after time, crosses and corners keep costing us. Something's not right: be it organisation, marking, stopping crosses, communication?
On the way back from the game, skip to the last couple of pages. I see people (rather predictably) blaming/calling Marshall. I'm not sure if it's just some sort of running joke or if these people are genuinely just complete ****ing idiots?
I did originally plan on sticking it up on the No New Owners thread, but as it was posted in response to the reaction to this game, I decided to bung it up on here.
ffs even Paul Merson questions our managers tactics of replacing Mbokani when 2-1 down, he even said he has watched us several times this season and we aren`t a bad team.
Phelan got the job by default , there is no way on earth he would have ever got the chance at any other premier league club
Mbokani had to come off, he was completely bollocksed and blowing out of his arse. Don't know if he took a kick or something but he dropped well off the pace.
Some twat on back of coach just said anyone boycotting home games is an idiot had argument with smelly fat **** just told him I would knock him out if he doenst shut his gob I might still do it Seen the ****ing freak arguing with various city supporters over the last couple of seaasons Nob ****ing head ..
