Yes we do, he's made a loan approach for Carl Jenkinson, who would play right back or right wing back depending on how we set up. You keep trying to make it into two positions, but we'll only sign one player who we think is capable of playing both.
It is two positions, you're still confused. If we can get a player who can play both then that is obviously the right move, but we have been poor at achieving that so far, haven't we? At the moment our squad is better suited to playing with WBs and I believe any January additions should complement that, rather than the confused buys we had from Bruce.
We already know it's Jenkinson, who's a right back, but as we're playing 3-5-2, Phelan obviously thinks he's a suitable player to play right wing back.
If he is then that is great, but we know from experience they are two different positions and it doesn't always work out. TWT.
