Absolutely should have been told about them, but the club didn't need to discuss the possibility of the extension before the fact. Very amateur of Dawson to have not read his contract properly.
Piss poor discussing this in the press. Makes him sound like a wage slave poor poor Robby... Tell you what rob put the ****ing numbers down that aren't good enough for your family. Maybe The club should have put down weekly how much you were costing us when you were out injured.
There's absolutely nothing wrong with what Snodgrass has said and I'd rather know what's going on, it's not like we're going to find out from the club.
I'll tell you what's going on. Snodgrass wants more money. He's not even completed his second season in the PL yet. Ungrateful scotch ****
In the Yorkshire post article he says that "the offer was not long enough or enough security for his family " I take the second part to mean financial
I wouldn't be surprised if he did at the end of the season. If we stay up he'll have played a significant part in achieving that. He'll more than repaid the money the Allams spent on his wages when he was injured.
No it's not. Outmoded I know but expecting some loyalty from a player... But because it's the Allams posters are on snodgrass side. Well **** him. Posters make out it's cos he wants away from the car crash club yet if we offer a five year deal on fifty grand a week he'll sign. Then in two years time they'll be whining like **** why we gave him a deal like that and they're useless negotiators. It gets ****ing boring.
You're getting ****ing boring Anybody would think Snodgrass came round and **** on your Christmas dinner
Good to see the two youngsters get a loan chance Particulary edwards Will stand them in good stead for next season
Paul Clement reportedly getting £30M budget to keep Swansea up, think Phelan will be lucky to get 30 quid!!
Good appointment by them Swansea are gone there players do not seem interested, no effort, the pundits on bt commented they had all the tv screens side by side warching each fixture and they couldnt believe the lack of effort from swansea compared to all the other teams Hopefully itl continue Too many mercenarys there for a big wage Same as newcastle last season
I'm sure when his agents set up meetings with other clubs, he would know who would want him the most, and it wouldn't be us (or Ehab).
He has no reason to be loyal. He got injured, but that happens in football. He stayed with us in be Championship and got us promoted. He's now spent another half a season contributing to nearly every goal we have scored. He's proved the point that without him, this team are going to struggle. And he wants to know he will be financially looked after for he next few years, not just 18 months. Even if he was offered a three year deal he'd probably take it, but we apparently don't do that as it isn't cost effective.
We've got loyal supporters leaving in droves, backroom staff jumping ship at the first opportunity. Why would we expect any different from a footballer who has one last contract? I get your point re prima donna footballers Chazz, but I don't think this is the best example
I was reading the swans board and they say player power has ruined them for the last few years. The chairman has meetings with players often. They got rid of laudrup and other managers since then.
