Like Williams (32) pushing out Funes Mori (25) or Barry (35) pushing out McCarthy (26) or Stekelenberg (35) pushing out Robles (26) or Valencia (27) pushing out Deulofeu (22)
Luck in terms of football is (we hit the bar, we were unlucky). No, the shot wasn't on target, it was hit too high or too hard. The ball bounced to their player not ours it was lucky.... no, the angle and velocity the ball was kicked at meant the ball rebounded in that direction and not in opposite direction (although with our goal v you guys wouldn't have made a difference as we had a player each side of the post ) #physics
Plus Jagielka (34) pushing out Stones (22), and the plan for Schneiderlin (27) to push out Barkley (23)
So a few years back when you hit the post many, many, many times in a season it was just piss poor finishing? Because it wasn't portrayed that way on here
You have to be lucky to win the lottery.Going to lion's den, face to face with lions , you need to be lucky to come out alive
We seemed to come up against MOTM performances by opposition keepers a lot that season too. In answer to your question, and I said this at the time, it was poor finishing. A keeper can only get MOTM of opposition players give him a chance too. Equally, professional players should be capable of hitting the target. The woodwork is off target (if it doesn't go in)
Stop talking out of your arse mate. Luck in football could be anything from an official making a howler to a scuffed shot headed for the corner flag bouncing in off someone's arse. To say physics proves there's no such thing as luck in football is twaddle at the Astro level of bullshit
Ah yeah, how many times they started this season, I'll take a combined total and guessing less than 10?
Loving these kopites spouting bollocks about Koeman's much needed rebuild of Everton, after their Messiah delivered 8th in his first season
If you get to 2 cup finals in his first year then fair play as well This time next year Everton will be challenging for the title I see, look forward to seeing both Merseyside clubs up there
