You make a valid point, it's not just about winning but even I have sat in Elland Road a few times in the last few years thinking wtf am I doing wasting my time and money on this for and if I exposed little man to this it would be game, set and match to Arsenal.

Interesting comments from Bruce the other night about this being the best Leeds team he has seen for a few years, confident and well organised. Maybe now is a good time to take your young un again - could catch the bug again??

Just checked on the website and only 4 tickets left for home supporters.

If we ever do get back to the PL then whoever owns us is going to have to find money to do the redevelopment of the West Stand that was approved if England were awarded the 2018 World Cup. Think that would have lifted capacity to 50K

I'll be dragging him away from his xbox tomorrow so hopefully it's a cracking atmosphere and goals aplenty for Leeds.

Yeh plenty of hospitality tickets available I guess.

Will be interesting to see how many we get for Derby as it's a vital match. Probably around 25K but hope I'm wrong and it's 30K plus. Friday night live on Sky not easy for people who have to travel from far and wide.

Come on Leeds ... Dallas must start, gives us balance and work rate, and his corners are tasty ... Wood up front to work their CBs ... Pablo on for last 25 mins when we are 2-0 up and there is space opening up for Sacko ... I would so love a 4-0 to lift the crowd and convince Rotherham their season is over and they should start planning for Lge One

on the striker front, Winnall is scoring at Barnsley, and this kid Abraham who is on loan at Bristol City is already on 12 ... may be worth considering

    Happy New Year [emoji482]

Looking at the stadium plan and expecting derby to bring 2500 put of 4000 as its a friday night i think its already above 25000.

There will be 2000 tickets on sale for tomorrow that never go on web sale. police insisted onhaving some so people dont travel and hang about with it been a bank holday and the pubs been open.

But isn't it so refreshing to be discussing football and full houses not the owner(s) or politics? Even in league 1 I loved being a Leeds fan when the vibes were good and everyone pulled in the same direction!! Even after failing to win promotion looking forward to the next season rather than worrying about the next disaster, who was being sold or bad press just made being a Leeds fan so special.

You sure it the the -15 season.

I thought it was when Redders took charge of the team when the Manager was absent.

No mate, definitely before that - think Beckford & Kandol both scored (Beckford twice??) and even Douglas from outside the box against a very young Alex Smithies (might even have been his debut??).

On another note, I have had a couple of beers and am about to enjoy a fabulous looking roast my lovely wife has been making but, before I eat i would like to propose a toast if I may?

We have some fantastic posters on here (and Glory) and, although I don't post every day I am sure, like many I find this a must read (almost addictive I guess). One person goes beyond the efforts of all others to make this such a great forum and deserves our thanks more than any other - regardless of work commitments etc, there is always a thread to pick up on. Step forward Matt, you have my thanks and, I am sure, that of many others :emoticon-0167-beer::emoticon-0167-beer::emoticon-0167-beer:

Afternoon all. Hope you all had a good New Year. On paper, we should beat Rotherham.... if we go out with the right attitude.

I would start with Doukara and Roofe with Dallas also starting. Wood can then come on early in the 2nd half & show Monk what we've been missing.

I think Monk will be reminding the Team that Rotherham are desperate for points. So we & the team may have to be patient. That said, I take us to romp home by at least 3

Afternoon Boggers, and Happy New year pal. Think a lot will depend on whether Taylor is fir. If not, Dallas is more likely to start as he tends to track back down the left wing...
