No it wasn't Burnsy and there's absolutely no reason to believe it isn't true. He's always been on the scholarship deal with us, not a pro contract. Unless that changed last week, which seems unlikely since the club haven't announced anything, then he's still on one and that will of course be a very small wage. It's absurd that a Premier League footballer would be playing on a non-professional basis in this day and age but this is City so... Obviously you'll keep your head firmly in the sand and it'll be someone else's fault. Maybe Phelan?
The utter **** talks his usual paranoid ****. Ask Cortez he's posted it enough times. It isn't ****ing true.
Fancy you not believing something that doesn't suit you. You're usually so balanced and reasonable. Tell me, do you think the nasty local and national media are all out to get those poor Allams? They're the victims right? The nationals that broke this story just plucked it out of nowhere to make them look bad when they're actually working tirelessly to sort things out. Oh and of course, the reason for Josh's deal not happening is that he's a greedy **** etc etc. Everyone's a **** except the Allams, right?
I'll say it again stupid paranoid ****. It was a story planted by Tymons agent. Now I ou just go on with your usual ramble that makes people aisle away from you. You do more harm to the trust growing a membership than anything.
Josh will leave city, all the top clubs are circling and they have lost patience with ehab. he's already been to Man U as a guest !
Assuming no relegation in reductions in gate receipts. Yes that is the sort of assumption to make after a few years of selling players and not replacing them. Meanwhile, in the real world, without being relegated we are getting lower crowds than we did in Division 3.
Tymon will be on whatever it was he signed when he joined the academy ranks. Youth contracts feature all sorts of stipulations such as international appearances, sub appearances (even if they don't come on) and other add ons. If he signed on as a youth player and hasn't signed anything else, then he's still on what he was on as a 15 year old when he joined up full time. It's not £160 p/w, there are youth players at York on more than that, but I can tell you it isn't much more than that, basic wage anyway. What he gets for appearing in the first team would be a decent wedge to him (and us).
