If we get a comfortable win here - and I say if because it's Spurs - the non-handball call will be forgotten, and probably not even shown on MOTD. However, there is not a chance that would not have been given for say ManU at OTrafford. If it is mentioned at all it will be along the lines of "you can see why the ref didn't give it". If it was a SirAlex team at ManU the discussion, if any, would be "you can see why the ref gave it".
Carragher just ripped into him for that, too. Didn't give us much credit. Souness seemed more balanced and accurate, to me. Watford v Spurs, Arsenal v Palace. Commentators? Two ex-Liverpool players. Obviously.
Back track all you want but I will be after YOU and YOU ALONE cos you remember the Manchester City 3-4 FA Cup match so should know better
I'm watching on Supersport (Africa) Ian Wright and Danny Murphy doing the Punditry. I've never heard an ex goon being so pro Spurs.
According to the BBC, Harry Kane now has 59 goals in 100 Premier League appearances - the exact same tally as Thierry Henry in that time. So if he gets a hat trick today, would that count for the first Goon meltdown of two thousand seventeen?
Wright tends to be very pro-England players, so he's probably happy that ours are playing well. Takes some of the sting out of it, as he's still very, very pro-Arsenal, understandably. 4-0! Alli!
Ive heard Wright talk positively about the Spurs on numerous occasions....he admits to the power shift! DELE!!!!!!
I'm going to have to get the vaseline and kleenex out if this carries on. Might be a bit awkward with the kids around, but there you have it.
Will Lloris stop passing it so short at the back, please? It's the only time that Watford have looked threatening, FFS.
And one more than Ian Wright, Wrighty has just claimed (tongue in cheek) that he had a lot of flu during his first 100 games.
