I think it would make more sense if it was three at the back, because that’s a very defensive lineup if it’s 4-2-3-1. Also, I think we played three at the back against Watford last year, as an adjustment to their two strikers.
Most live feeds have assumed that we're going for a 4-2-3-1 but we've seen this a few times this season now. Could well see Eriksen sit deep in a midfield of 4 as he did against Soton with Trippier and Rose operating as wing backs.
Watford have changed their lineup, due to a warm-up injury to Zuniga. Ighalo starts alongside Deeney now, instead. Edit: Not sure that helps us. They actually look more dangerous now, on paper.
Very strong bench with lots of proven options but lack of width and pace there concerns me. I can only assume that GKN is busy wishing thousands of supporters a happy new year on twitter.

Horrendous weather but the slick surface seems to have forced us to a much quicker, zippier start than recent games. We're well on top, keep it up lads.
Weirdly subdued atmosphere and quite a few empty seats on view. A few attempts on goal but no real problems at either end...both sides will be pleased with the start I guess and Watford coming more into it
