Also tomorrow at Flemington down under. The first race (1.35 local time) features Black Caviar's first foal OSCIETRA.
Happy New Year attivo and thank you for your sterling efforts throughout the year. Happy New Year to everyone. Might as well start off with a winner; Call To Order 3/1 in the 14.35 Cheltenham
I agree Nass , but the trip looks a bit stiff. My heart says camping ground, I think the trip will suit but have issues with the ground and weight. In the 12.50 I think troika steps can get back to winning ways and the claim helps.
Beware local trainer robin Dickins Thomas crapper in the 2.00. He's had a wind op, which could bring a vast improvement and the trainer says he's flying at home and he likes it round here.
Ballyoisin 6/1 - Fairyhouse 2:40 - Ballyoisin appears after over a year out of action in this beginners chase, a decent race it is too. Starting out at 3 miles should be no problem having won his P2P very impressively over 3 miles at Belclare. He had a short stint over hurdles, winning once by 11 lengths and going down 4.25L to Limini at Punchestown the other time, both over 16f. He's bred to be a chaser, my concern is the lay - off obviously. I have backed him this evening, but if any of you are considering backing him, perhaps you should best watch the market over the next 16 hours or so as being owned by JP, if he is 100% fit there should be confidence behind him in the market which would boost my confidence in him taking this race. ***an and Arbe De Vie look the main threat, I'm not convinced by the Giggy runner but I'm sure Henry will have him sharp on his 2nd chase start after being beaten 10L to Bellshill recently.
Warp Factor 12.30 at Mussy 7/2 win.Irish raider alert.Happy New year to all forum members. Some cracking tipsters on here and long may it continue
Agree Cole Harden @ 4s is some price for a World Hurdle winner. Worryingly for fellow forum followers Thomas Crapper is a bit of a cliff horse for me and I'd picked him out too. The only potential negative for both of these is the possibility of a change to ground conditions following overnight rain. Both prefer a sound surface so I'll wait until the morning before investing. Happy new year one and all.
Crosse Fire tomorrow Nass...market vibes are positive as of now. Dixon looking to get off on the right foot for 2017 perhaps. Deep pockets required.
Mappin Time definitely handicapped to win fairly soon. BOS definitely hard to ignore, hard to be overly confident on any winning.
