Fantastic tactical display, City had control of the ball second half but there's nothing they will be kicking themselves for, for missing.

Made up with that, this and Everton shows we are well capable of these results.

    That's a huge win today <applause>

Refreshing to see us play differently and win. Excellent result and made December a decent month.

Well we worked our backsides off 2nd half keeping city out while Sunderland practically had their feet up letting Burnley win, so wouldn't be surprised if they put in the performance of their lives against us

What did I say? Went exactly how I expected. City have no plan B and their pass pass game useless especially when the accuracy was off.

    Easy Peasy.

Great result, can't say I enjoyed the game though. More nerves shredded.
Tbf, we never let them have a sniff of our goal, but I still can't shake the fear that we'll flog a goal at the end - it's happened too often before.

Well, didn't enjoy watching that. Thought we were awful on the ball, worse we've played all season.

Saying that, the defence and midfield were superb in keeping their shape and not letting Silva, De Bruyne & Aguero pick up the ball in the gap behind midfield and defence. City were atrocious as well, no creativity, no plan b, no idea how to break us down.

Wish Mane would just get the ball and beat a man, seems to want to slow the game down so much these days.

Game off few chances, but Firm could have been 1v1 with a decent touch, Lallana same with a decent pass and in 2nd half had Origi turned to the left we had a 3v2 with free man at one point.

Great result despite the not so great preformed.

What have people been saying about our defence again?

    YES!!

We've just won breathing space and have kept the pressure on Chelsea.

That was as professional a performance that I've seen from us. despite their procession, they rarely troubled us....

We need a big performance against Sunderland in 2 days.....we could close the gap to 3 points. It's getting very interesting. <ok>

Brilliant win. I am sure the pundits are shocked at this alternative strategy.

Today they cannot play the I worry about thier defence crap they come up with. Hopefully we do Sunderland one and give the players a good rest

Klavan and Lovren played a blinder against both Lukaku and Aguero - two of the most profilic PL strikers of recent years

Especially as Klavan got booked after 15 mins or so. Did well in couple occasions not to dive in and risk a 2nd yellow as well.
