    Don't expect WBA to come out and play football, they will waste time from the kick off and try to stifle any attempt by us to play in the final third

    And for that reason, like always, my prediction is entirely dependent on IF any of the midfielders take a risk and get forwards.

    If they sit in a 3 it will be 0-0 or 1-0 to WBA.
    If they push forward and join the attacks, we can win.

    Gameday!! Boom. Looking forward to this one. Spurs were better than us on Wednesday, but I wasn't disheartened with the performance. Thought we played some nice stuff in patches and were unlucky with the bounce of the ball etc.
    It's a new day, the last of the year, lets make it a good one.

    I don't think the midfielders not getting forward has really been our problem. It's more a lack of movement in front of the ball, leading to a lack of options. We need our forwards to be running into space whenever we have possession. It's why I love to see Shane Long on the pitch, in spite of his limitations, because he always does that. So, it seems, does Josh Sims.
