Something must have happened between Klose and AN, this is right up there with the Lambert / Bowkett rumour!
Wouldn't it be ironic if selling Timm Klose to West Brom (£7.5m stated in this) was the only way the board could afford to dispense with Alex Neil's services Still, if we sell Brady, Klose, Canos and maybe even Pritchard, they'll be able to afford to pay up his outstanding contract, no problem! http://www.sportsmole.co.uk/footbal...-to-reignite-interest-in-defender_287986.html
Again, like with Redmond. Funny he's not good enough to play for us, but a Premiership team want him to improve their first team. Sometimes Alex, you just have to suck it up and do what's best for the football club. Not just what makes life easier for you!
Something seems to have happened between AN and most of our players. Can't think of one player he's managed to get to play anywhere near their full potential. The club in a downward spiral, something needs to change. McNally's years of excellent stewardship has been done away with in less than a season. When the fans loyal support and the parachute payments run out we will have a mountain to climb just to stay in the championship let alone challenge for promotion to the PL.
I'm sure I'm not alone in feeling that there is much more wrong within the club than the lack of effort on the pitch and certain players not even being in the starting 11, even though they are better players than those in the starting 11. As KIO says elsewhere, I am beginning to get embarrassed/demoralised by not just our defeats, but the manner of them.
I was quite happy sitting in the pub on Saturday afternoon. Until I saw KIO mention a live stream on the MDT, so I came home to watch. Why did I bother? And ironically, it was one of the best quality streams I've ever watched - shame the defending was not of comparable quality
Wouldn't be at all surprised if Oliveira and Olsson were having a word with their agents and looking for a January move. I mean, if I'd scored 4 in 5, yet had been unceremoniously - and for no good reason been hauled off for two weeks running, my confidence levels and desire would be down in the basement
The more I read stuff like this, the more I realise our board are just repeatedly flogging a dead horse "Having impressed on loan at Brentford last season with seven goals and four assists, 19-year-old playmaker Canos was tipped for a big role at Norwich, but he's featured in just three Championship games for Norwich this season, adding up to just 103 minutes of league action." WTF?? Canos, Pritchard, Klose all abandoned...none of it adds up? http://www.hitc.com/en-gb/2016/12/2...aware-of-rangers-interest-but-may-snub-ibrox/
The man's a complete twat who should bugger off back to Jockland and manage one of their pub teams. What has been allowed to happen at this great football club is a travesty
See, what I just can't get my head around is how, two years ago, he could come in and be so refreshing, positive and dynamic and yet now, despite having spent millions (on sidelined players?) and having all that extra two years worth of valuable experience, he's just a clueless pile of gash ??
I'm sure I remember for at least a few games when he first arrived, he started with Hooper and Jerome on the pitch together and they built up a good understanding with one often laying on a goal scoring opportunity for the other. Now it seems he daren't have two strikers on the pitch together and he comes up with some lame excuse as to why he shouldn't.
Brady to Crystal Palace is the latest rumour involving the Irishman. I have a feeling that our 'best' players are going to be sold off in preparation for long term life in Championship. Are fans going to vote with their feet in sufficient numbers to make a difference?
Klose, Canos, Brady and Pritchard - I 'd be amazed if they were here at the start of Feb. Olsson, Oliveira, Ja Murphy, and one or two others who don't wish to spend all eternity doing an 'Ipswich' may well be keeping their options open - and close contact with their agents. But hey, we'll still have the 'spine' of the team, Turner, Martin, Whittaker, Bassong, Tettey and Naismith will still be around
Klose, Brady, Jacob I think will all go fast. Be amazed if we dont start hearing of Howson going very soon.
Looks like we won't be cashing in on Naismith next month - not that he's worth more than £2m these days anyway Michael Bailey @michaeljbailey Michael Bailey Retweeted EveningExpress Sport James Maddison will stay at Aberdeen for the rest of the season. I really don't get the hurry with this.
Phew - thank goodness for that. Oops - hang on. I'd rather see the under 23 squad given a chance than that lot, they certainly couldn't do any worse!!!!
More rumour about our beloved leader AN. Seems that he had a contract extension last summer and so it will cost £2m to get shot of him. So it looks like we have to sell somebody to pay the man off. Just cant understand where all the Prem money went. I have a feeling that the Brentford game could Fulham all over again; what was it now 6 - 0?
Quite a bit about all this on the 'how long do we give him' thread But, with some perspective (which I didn't have when I saw KIO's 'Sun' headline this morning) Canos was £2.5m, Pritchard £8m and Klose believed to be about £8.5m! So, if we can afford all them, who don't even feature in the squad, we can afford £2m to get rid of the biggest piece of dead wood the club has had for ages
