  7. Bambi is taking an epic pummelling on here, so soon after Christmas.

    It's comforting to see that some things never change.

    ...sympathy post for Quentin...when getting his arse kicked he invariably resorts to cartoons...but at least that gives us all some respite from his cock obsession eh? ... :)

    It's the difference between a usual title challenger and us. We don't have any depth to our squad if we're honest. I'd have preferred a steadier progression to the title if I had the choice but this season has always been a write off. We're going to enjoy the Champions League, stay up and look forward to 17/18.

    The good thing for us is that there's at least two teams (Hull and Swansea) that appear desperate to be relegated.

    My opinion on the team against Everton;

    Schmeichel - Definitely good enough, one of the leagues' best.
    Simpson - A dependable player but I think he's upgradeable, not a priority for us yet.
    Morgan - Put him next to a good defender and he's fine. Need to look to upgrade though.
    Wasilewski - He wasn't really good enough in the Championship. He's now 36 and at fault for the first on Monday.
    Chilwell - The best he's played for us, will play for England.
    Gray - Potential to play for England if he's put on the left in a 4-3-3. Occasional moments of brilliance cloud a lot of people's judgement. He goes missing.
    Amartey - I'm a big fan of his. He'll be good enough but not just yet.
    King - As much as I love him he's not good enough to play regularly at this level.
    Albrighton - When he has games like he did on Monday then he's a waste of time. Didn't supply the strikers once.
    Okazaki - Very good footballer. Definitely good enough.
    Slimani - Needs service. He's taken most chances he's got.

    So that's 4/5 that are good enough right now. It's just not like a normal defending title squad. It's why all of our chips are in the Champions League basket. When hopefully we'll have Vardy, Fuchs, Huth, Drinkwater, Mendy and Mahrez back.

    I know when I read this type of comment from HIAG, that the exact opposite is happening.

    I think it's best to have a break from the Fosse roasting at this time of year. Even in World Wars they stopped the massacre of the weak for Xmas. I can wait until the New Year before I start laughing at Leicester City losing again.... lets be honest, there's no risk of that drying up.
