Can't stand Dean. For all Roger Easts faults, it never feels like he's doing things deliberately. Mike Dean kinda makes red mist rise.
Not sure. Even the safe standing sections have allocated seat numbers, so although there will clearly be more room for moving and standing with mates, it will depend how it's stewarded. I could foresee a person getting the hump if they have an allocated "standing seat" and they are pushed out by the person next to them having two mates join him in same row etc. So, it's not much different to how the Northam is now with many people stood up. Terracing is never coming back at this level, I personally don't hanker for it, just need those who go to games now to be more involved.
Firstly, moan, moan, moan, moan. Secondly...........didn't watch the game and it's not fair I can't join in any meltdown.......if there is one.
I pretty much agree with Godders including the last 2 paragraphs. Call me plastic or fake but its the truth. Love the shirt, hate what Prem football has done to the teams that I used to love and hate. Prem teams have become like tech items these days. Love this year's version until next year when its old hat and the new one's better. The only difference is we stay with the brand rather than switching brands.
I thought that at the time, re. outside the box, and that he should have come crashing in with a tackle. One thing I would add though is, fair play to the Spurs player who didn't fall down like he'd been shot!
I guess I'm a bit old fashioned. If I pay for entertainment, I expect to be entertained. Now if the players payed the crowd to come (or even if ticket prices were reasonable) I might feel more inclined to 'sing'. I find this expecting the crowd to actively support thing a bit weird really. I'm not doubting that a vociferous crowd might actually spur (oops) the players on but to kind of suggest that you're not a real supporter unless you are loud doesn't seem right. And if you want to whine sobeit, you have paid for that right too.
Vertonghen not getting a retrospective card for the JRod incident as the refs committee weren't unanimous.
The Club are not disputing Redmonds red card although we didn't agree with it, perhaps they think they won't get a fair deal?
Let's not slagging off other fans and praise Claude Puel - PR genius. In a single game he has shown himself a master of illusion. He makes Saints look like a bunch of knackered carthorses after 20 minutes He makes the great Virgil look worth about two PC World vouchers So now, no team will quake as they come to SMS and we'll have 'em.
perhaps they think they won't get a fair deal? ----------- I don't trust the system. It seems to bend at wills.
He also managed to make three substitutes look knackered the moment they got on the pitch with only 20 mins to play.
Or they have to accept that he fouled the player to prevent him scoring. Controversial call. The ref got it wrong in my view, but in cricket terms the DRS would give it as "umpire's call" I imagine.
