I got one too. I did ring sky up and threaten to leave earlier in the year but i also got a sweeeeeeet deal for sky movies for 5 quid off the regional sky sales manager as they cameyo my work recently. I think i either got it as a movies sign up... or cos i threatened them with leaving... depends how cynical you view sky
Brought guys to why him last night. Cinema was ****ing packed. Basically its a 3 out of 5 movie at best but not totally rubbish. James franco playing james franco as usual and brian cranston playing dad from Malcolm in the middle...
I can explain it. Baddie has daddy issues. We see a classic comic and book setting where a storm trooper turns. Thats very common and prob why finn is in there. We see the millenium falcon. That should be enough for anyone. Episode one style sillyness where a girl who never flew anything is galaxys greatest pilot. We meet han solo and chewie that should be enough for anyone. Thetes a 30 second crucial scene where rey sees the past and future when she touches lukes saber... (oooohh behave) this is absolutely crucial for all 3 movies. **** happend people magically turn up. Rey learns from kaylo somehow. They destroy and even bigger death star. Han solo dies cos he costs too much. Rey meets luke for training cos luke is a fat old guy who cant act hes in the show for 10seconds. The end.
Yeah got the offer from Sky, I'm still leaving them though. Looking at the overall picture then there are alternatives out there at a much cheaper price. I like Sky but I can save a lot by moving to the likes of Talk Talk. Not sure who to go to but I'm going to let all my Sky offers expire and see how much I can save by switching.
Depends what's on offer at the time. Didn't see me moving away from Virgin but Sky was £60pcm cheaper. Couldn't find anything close to that deal either Edit: my mate tried about a month later and the Sky price had doubled! He still signed up and got me £125 for referring him though
Just been looking at Talk Talk I'd be saving about £20 a month, I have concerns with the fact that they are now owned by BT though (not sure on this but I was told that they were) BT are terrible service wise and I don't want anything to do with them. I'm looking at getting a Smart TV that can record and then just going Freeview.
Christmas telly, I mean 'terrestrial', seems like it's been proper awful this year. I says 'seems' as I wouldn't know since I mostly watch things online but looking around there's nothing that really stands out, oh other than Inside No. 9 which was really good Also watched the Outnumbered special 'live' which was decent but the show has outlived its moment and goodness and they should stop making it now Other things I saw were Xmas Robot Wars - utterly devastatingly ****e in every way Xmas Dragon's Den - sort of entertaining but only passable really, it is what it is, an outdated concept that had a moment, like the Apprentice, that either needs a major refresh or they should cancel. but it's so cheap to produce and still gets views so they obviously won't Got Generation Kill to watch next, series about the Iraq war/invasion in 2003 and written by David Simon and some others from The Wire
I was about to say "isn't it always" and then remembered you have the beeb so actually get decent terrestrial TV unlike here... Do any French Channels make it over the water to you?
Sorry. Thought you were Biscan in Brighton when posted that. Xmas name changes confusing me Wish people wouldn't keep changing their names.
