I mentioned it a few months ago on a music thread, but we're getting to that point where most of the people we all grew up with are going to start passing. This year has been bad, but 2017 will unfortunately be no better.
I can accept the people dying in their 70s 80s and 90s. There definitely seems to be a lot more people dying in their 50s and 60s this year. That's not just people getting older. RIP Princess Leia.
That lifestyle seems a good idea at the time i suppose. Guess they never figure that it will come back to haunt them.
Jeez Debbie Reynolds the actress dies the day after her daughter Carrie Fisher. Amongst her many films she played opposite Gene Kelly in the film Singing In The Rain. Still a couple a days to go for the year that keeps on taking
Staggering news that Debbie Reynolds has passed away a day after her daughter, tragedy for the family. RIP
Apparently Debbie and Carrie were very close. Her death is a shock but not exactly unexpected, I guess there is lot to be said about the human will to carry on living after tragedy strikes.
I'm keeping our lass's eyes well away from this post or she'll be wanting one of those washer/driers again!
As sad as these threads are, it's always a chance to see a lighter side of the people, so rather than miss them, it's better to remember them. Carrie Fisher
