If we stop selling our best players, the media will stop talking incessantly about us selling our best players.

You only sell players that are demanding to go...if the press and media stop acting like pimps for the players they wouldn't have their heads so easily turned imo.
Think its outrageous personally.
It's like the media hate you having good players. They behave similarly towards us.

The media can talk about it all they want, they need to sell papers. Why a pundit feels the need to do it though I have no idea, there's absolutely nothing to gain

 

The media doesn't give two ****s about us; we're just not that interesting to them save for the fact that we sell an awful lot of players to top teams. If/when that stops, we'll cease to even receive many headlines for that. And no, our players aren't being swayed by the red tops. Our players leave because we don't pay particularly much in the grand scheme and we don't qualify for CL.
