In the light of recent events I feel it was definitely a mistake putting the scarf faced figure on the Ulltras flag.
Yeah... I hope they think carefully about whether or not to put that up tonight. Really not appropriate.
Really? Seriously only now? Oh dear. Thing that amused me most was, the majority of the supporters of that moronic hooded thug image were hating the most on the Cash Converters deal and logo, because they reflect badly on the City. Ahhh sweet irony.
What is the purpose meant to be of that figure on the banner? It certainly gives the impression that the people who are part of the group are the type that would be first in line if riots and looting start in Hull. I'm pretty sure that isn't the idea though.
I was never been keen on the image but could see that there was probably malice behind it, merely imitating an image used by many eastern European teams supporters use Togo hand in hand with the play on words with the name. But now it just seems as moronic as the lot that sang the town full of bombers chant against QPR all those years ago. Do we know who's initiative it is ? And who paid for the flag ?
I highly doubt there was any malice behind it, pretty much every Hull City fansite was behind it, and from what others have said i believe some of the people behind it have a meeting with some people high up at the KC to discuss their ideas. So its hardly done by idiots who want violence is it?
Dunno about half Bear, half Tiger but it does look very cartoonish. It's not as bad as this please log in to view this image But it's very close. As for the man with the scarf round his face, the banner is supposed to be quite immitating. I like the motto at the bottom.
Re posted from yesterday. I still think singing standing supporting is the wrong message for the banner. Anyone see the Cardiff banner yesterday? Supporters not Criminals. This is a less confrontational message. So, change the gay pride tiger, replace the London looter motif and change the script, apart from that all good. Keep the faith.
