1.55 Martello Tower - simply got to take the first two on. Both look like a pile of crap to me. MT is talented enough to put the willies up anything in this field if he jumps round okay.
1.55 Briar Hill 9/1 Cracking each-way bet imo. Crying out for 3m but it's a very good race, fair bit of depth in it. Stable ain't too badly either!
Everything I've won this week on Nicholls Canyon - I will be stunned if he is beaten (Cue last fence fall )
aahhh Captain Lars, the Don can tell you all about him. Watch out for CROSSE FIRE, Scott Dixon won this with him last year and has been manipulating his rating I reckon.
Yard form for SIX MONTHS = 2 wins in 165 runs I have had more winners in that time. It's very well handicapped and been interesting last couple of runs, but the yard form is horrid.
Good luck Nass. Havlin goes there for one ride on GOLDEN OPPORTUNITY in the 1.50, only 5/4 but take the hint.
Old boy RATHNURE REBEL out in the Grade 2 down at Limerick then. Another finders fee heading my way from STH tomorrow then. PayPal is still fine mucker
I was thinking this recently about Dixon. How is he surviving? They landed a huge punt on Captain Lars last week too...This time last year wasn't the Don involved with him beofre Shaw snapped him up. Are ya deserting Piazon NassauBoard?
Not sure about Dixon but if he doesn't pick up some form before the flat season he may be in trouble. Yes punt landed last week and he goes on the ground, has the good draw and doesn't lack pace either. Hopefully the will go hard and he will go past them in the final furlong.
Evens is fair in that field. He should rout them and he should be getting fitter and stronger all the time.
Yeah, that suited CL last week, they went a nice clip up top and he just picked up the pieces fairly cosily close home. I'd imagine them trying to strike swiftly again like his quickfire double this time last year and then wait 360 days and 17 "luckless" runs for another gamble
Our Duke 6/1 Leopardstown 1:55 made a very nice start to life chasing when easily beating a good field by 11 lengths at Navan early December. He travelled superbly and kept on well. This is a deep field and will take some winning, arguably you could put a case forward for all 10 of them. If OD can get to the last and be involved, it will take a very good horse to lower his colours. Exactoris 7/1 - Leopardstown 3:05 joint top weight in here but the 7 lbs claim of Slevin may prove the decisive factor in a tight knit handicap. Apparent JP 2nd string It would be no surprise were he to upset the market leaders (not quite sure how Ruby's mount deserves favouritism here) but time will tell.
