So whats the big secret with ehab Surely you just tell the manager what he has to work with No wonder bruce walked I just dont get the guys mentality its like running hull city competantly doesnt enter his head, 4 days from the window opening and the managers clueless with what hes got to work with, were a laughing stock
He's probably got a formula set out. If difference to 17th is less than 3 points on 30th Jan then spend £50m otherwise recoup as much as possible.
We are Hull City in the PL The lad has had a good season for minnow club Grimsby in the Conference. If he's lucky he might get to be ball boy at a Hull City game.
League two actually. He was the top scorer in all 4 divisions. For £500k for a 23 year old. I'd take a gamble. As there's already a host of Championship clubs looking at him, we'd be foolish not to look at him given that we are more than likely going to be in the Championship next season.
I'd rather put the money towards Madden or Winnall (or Bradshaw) if we are aiming for the Championship. Bogle wouldn't be a bad gamble though I suppose, he's quite pacy isn't he? Could be a decent foil up front? We don't actually have any pace at all in the team.
If he did indeed cost £500k then that's pocket change and should be bought but i don't think theyd sell.for that
Probably the best thing planning for the championship as most of us believe we wont be heavily investing in this squad Just a question does anybody remember how much we spent the last time we came down from the premiership? Did we purchase diomande, clucas and odubajo? For an outlay of about £6m
The irony of this post is me and the family are in Matlock Bath - I got out of the car and the first person I see is a Grimsby Town fan with Town hat on. Spoke to him about Bogle - He said he's young but easily good enough for the Championship and he does expect to see him in the PL at some point. Quick, big and two footed. Forest, Derby, Milwall and either Ipswich or Norwich have watched him several times this season.
The window hasn't even opened yet, and you lot are wetting your little knickers. You couldn't make it up!
Dio was £1.7m, Clucas was something like £1.3m and Odubajo was £3.5m. Our total outlay last season was about £5m. Oh Maloney cost £1.7m as well. But considering what we made on player sales we did alright.
Funny I thought we was discussing striker targets, we should just re publish the last 6-7 years of transfer windows threds. It's all very repetitive
Yes, but with our clearly defined budget and position in the greatest league in the world, there's a thronging mass of bored strikers assembling at the KC
I'd sign a few of them - we've only got Dio and Abel and we're more than likely going to lose Abel. The other lad at Barnsley who has only scored 4 less than Winnall but has the most assists for a striker in the Championship - I'd sign him. At least one of them has to come good.
Bradshaw looked a good prospect at Walsall. We miss them constantly you can pick the decent markers up for 1-2 mill.
