So came back from the man city match to find our patio door kicked in and house ransacked. Yet they took very little. Police assume were disturbed and only thing missing is my 1998 hull city key ring that had on the keys to my old old mini metro. So my question is did they assume they could nick a car or were they after some retro gift that still said Hull City on it..... They emptied my drawers but left my wembley tigers boxers. Am I reading too much into this.....
No. Got rid of it 10 years ago but kept the key ring as it had rusted and I couldn't get the key off.... I kept it as it always gave the team good luck. Without it I fear the good times of the last 17 years may take a nosedive and then I will get the blame for our demise.....as for the villains i suspect they may be slightly disappointed when they assess their prize.
It must of been Ehaw, tried the boxers on , realized how inadequate the name on the boxers were, ( full length) thought about shortening It. Then tore them off in full understanding that he possesses already the faculty of the smallest thing in the world . The **** Him.
Sorry to hear that, the nearest I have come to it was boxing day when the kids were younger, someone at 2am was trying to enter the house, but we had 2 dogs who saw him off. Stupid guy then went further down the street and got into someone else's house, but I had called the police and they caught him. Wouldn't happen today as the police would probably take a couple of days to arrive.
I've got cctv all around me house. It doesn't work but them ****s don't know that. Sorry to hear your news, Doc.
I take comfort in the fact that it took Yodel 5 days to find my house on a next day delivery. Burglars, no chance. But if they did and I found them, I'd likely be facing charges for GBH or worse.
returned home to find the front door inside bolt on , i instantly knew what had happened , i waited under our smashed kitchen window all night with a claw hammer and portable TV for company in hope they returned ... that sick feeling never really goes away when ever you return home Feel for ya bud !!
City have been burgled more than a few times this season, but then we have left the door open...!!! I'm glad the damage and trauma wasn't as bad as it might have been...
The burglary trade must be a mug's game these days with so many people having hidden cameras at home.
Burglars have now realised that they can make more money by nicking your car, that way the risk/reward formula is maximised. Have a look outside, I bet they will have dumped your keys once they couldn't find your vehicle.
Cant beat a dog for security John. I've lived in some right dodgy areas and never been robbed. Always put it down to having a dog. They might get in but they wont get out...
It was stuff for the Mrs for Christmas. It would have been easier to drive to London and buy it and drive back. Trying to contact Yodel is hideous 'web chat' takes you to South Africa. Telephone takes you to an automated system that just hangs up once you have entered your tracking details.
There're possibly a lot of cat burglars looking for a new outlet, think on. It surprises me when I hear of people paying big money for dogs, and then tying them outside shops with a bit of leather while they go in.
