Overtaken Newcastle at the top of the table. Put aside the disappointment of last seasons play off defeat, I think they look like title winners.
Patty, stay off the liqueurs, they're going to your head and making you post even more ****ish stuff than normal.
Patty has been removed from this thread for being an arse. And if I have to remove him again, it will be from the entire site and permanently.
Looking at the table earlier, Newcastle have already lost more games than Burnley did last season. They may well struggle in the long run. Hope Brighton win it.
The likes of Derby are looking strong after a poor start. Won't be the cakewalk the Geordies thought it would be. The promotion race in the Championship will certainly be an interesting one.
I'm super glad we aren't pushing for promotion this season, there's no way we would have got out this season.
What a tosser Ian Holloway is, just listened to his rant at the Brighton fans who were singing "You are getting sacked in the morning" Can't stand the block, if ever he became City manager I wouldn't go on principle.
just found it haha he's lost his marbles "I didn't mean to beat you in the play-offs. It wasn't my fault was it? Why don't you show me some respect."
just looked since holloway came in in november they won his first game and since then lost all 6 games
That's the one, but listening to it is much better than reading it. Also said On Brighton fans singing 'you're getting sacked in the morning': "That's nice isn't it? I hope you enjoy your Christmas and your New Year. "Why don't you sing something better and different? I didn't mean to beat you in the play-offs [with Crystal Palace in 2013]. "Why don't you show a bit of respect? But that is life and football these days."
You think we'd have done better than Newcastle, Brighton or any of the current top 6? Given the teams from this season and last, this season's Championship is much stronger at the top end, Newcastle are a much better side than Burnley or Boro, Brighton are much stronger this year, as are Wednesday and Leeds. With our limited resources, we wouldn't have managed automatic, in my opinion.
Anyone else really looking forward to the championship next season? Allams out, new owners and a bit of money and we'll have a blast.
As its hypothtecal i sorta just wanna back my team while you seem to be into self loathing City fan like most. We beat Ncastle do you not remember? We absolutely battered Wensdee 7 months ago. Im sure your comeback will be ye but we were terrible against preston or someone.
There's no self loathing here, we're a ****ing shambles and I'm fine with how the team is during said shambles until the owners get rodded. Although I'm starting to get fed up with Phelan, any other manager with his record would have been sacked ages ago, whereas we'll probably keep him until the end of the season/new owners come in/whichever comes first. We beat Newcastle over 120 minutes, we wouldn't have that long in the league.
