Well aside from the fact that I laughed from beginning to end. I didn't need cheered up mate but thanks all the same
If it even wins goal of the month, 83 will not be happy. I just don't get why people are ****ing over it.
Agreed. He was 5 or 6 yards out in the centre of goal. He was offside so he had no player on top of him applying maximum pressure. I really don't get how the **** it's a 'great' goal.
So now the rules are if you score a tap in and your offside then it's not a goal......if your score a screamer then it's automatically a goal......imagine if a Sunderland player scored that and the goal stopped United getting into the last four? Goal of the season then right? The game is heading in the wrong direction sadly.....offside is offside. So called pundits want f*cking to be honest.........
I think people are getting overexcited about it because moments of players using flashy skills to get something done are quite rare these days even though most decent players are capable of it. It's become an advanced form of playing the percentages as there's so much at stake, and players using tricks can even be seen as disrespectful and deserving of a crippling tackle. I do think that the fact that the goal shouldn't actually have been a goal almost makes it null and void as a bit of skill though. It's like praising Maradona for a great leap when he pushed the ball into the net with his hand.
If it`s on side it`s a brilliant goal. If it`s off side it isn`t a goal at all. End of. Live with it..
I'm not sure if you can make wine out of sour grapes but there's enough on here to keep the lot of you hammered for 2017.
Well just finally watched the full game and score was about right in the end although on another day I could see 5-1 or 1-1 quite easily from a game like this. We gave as good as we got for long periods without looking too dangerous up top. Can't believe they paid that much for Pogba he is not worth a third of what they paid and shows just how stupid the transfer market is these days. I can't really see Man Utd finishing higher than 5th this season although they could sneak 4th if things fall their way. I would give us a 50/50 chance of staying up, probably would of been higher but the ACN will weaken us especially in defence quite badly and I can see us leaking a lot of goals in that period. Regards the scorpion kick debate, it was awarded a goal so it's certainly a goal and can be in the goal competition. Don't get me wrong it's an amazing piece of last minute thinking but is it really a great goal? Not for me anyway.
