Another dire post match interview from Ollie. Six on the trot now - come on, surely any dire experienced manager worth his salt would get at least a few draws from those last six games. we are bottom of the form table under Ollie, and with this team that is completely unacceptable. Hearing about a couple of players not speaking any English is incredible - and is either a complete exaggeration or incompetence of the HoF for the time they have been here. Are we really that poor as a club not to be able to manage international players coming into the club?? As for a striker coming in ... to use an Ollie'ism " ... you take one look at her and think 'would you??' Nah!!"
6 losses in a row and crise knows when we last scored + a win against 10 men under Olly. We were nowhere near as bad as this under Jimmy, CR, or anyone else I can remember. Olly should go tonight.
My big concern is who the f*ck is in charge of transfer policy? If it is Sir Les then he shouldn't be given any more chances to further f*ck this team up. We need at least four players in the window and they must be experienced at this level and show some leadership because this rabble are rudderless. The team has no drive at all, look at how Brighton's players moved off the ball and the shift they all put in. Even when we came back into the game in the first half they weathered the storm and then upped a gear to blow us away in the second half. Our central defence are hopeless and we don't cover them from midfield. March was toying with Perch throughout, I could go on and on but I'm totally pissed off with the same old same old. Fifty years of being an R and this is as bad as it's ever been, we're worse now than in 1966. Thanks for nothing TF...
Kodjia at Villa doesn't speak English and he's been in England for 18 months. Don't seem to mind him though, he gets the job done. Problem is our non English speaking players are shyte.
Sooper asks "My big concern is who the f*ck is in charge of transfer policy?" Really? A Transfer Policy? someone will tell me we have scouts looking at potential players next!!
a rudderless and sinking ship!! The first any incoming ships captain would do is block up the leaking holes, and then steer forwards to safety. Our ships captain is managing none of those so far. That's why the likes of Pullis and Allerdyce get their defences sorted first - no goals let in guarantee you points - we have jack ****!!
Our passing accuracy was better than ages ( for the first 35 minutes and until 20 meters from their goal) and our mobillity was better than previous matches ( for the first 35 minutes) Those were the positive things from today. Then the Usual. Toddler could have been tougher and better against March than Perch. Sad, sad performance. Onuoha...was he on valium in their first goal?????? At least ref gave him red card for nothing...I dont even want to start about our lack of scoring. All in all it was a match between team with confidence and the team that obviously never had such.
I'm just wondering if anyone still thinks it was a good idea to get rid of JFH........we may have been boring, we may have been set up not to lose, he may have been a twat getting involved in the Telegraph sting, he may have lacked a personality but we were consolidating in mid table which is really all we could have expected from this season...........now we're deep in the doggy do and it's going to take some doing.......6 defeats on the trot and not a goal in sight......meh
I know we were, 3rd in the 3rd division before our League Cup and Title double season. Even in the 2001-04 period we built up from scratch we had pride and I actually enjoyed the effort we showed. There's no excuse for the past five and a half years, every opportunity f*cked up by lazy, greedy, self-centred w*nkers...
Imo we would still be in this predicament with jfh, this stems from the top and seeps down. You cant make a silk purse etc from this lot.The players we brought in (as stated by many) just aint up to it.TF needs to address the business model and quickly.
I really don't know where to start after watching that. But I'm going to try. First half wasn't that bad overall really, for a team that can't score. Of course our Captain fantstic though contrived to give them a goal start from nothing. ( it was a good strike though from the edge of the box). So having gone in 0-1 down I was hoping that we wouldn't do our normal stuff on the south coast and gift them any more goals. Unfortunately it didn't take long with Luongo diving in in our box. Then when we lost Captain Fantastic that was that. Perch and Bidwell were torn a new one continuously. Cousins and Luongo still haven't managed to score or control a game. They both look lost. Basically our defence is ****e in the middle, and poor out wide. We have no Leader on the pitch Our midfield don't create anything. Our strikers don't score as our midfield don't create. The positives? Well Borisyuk looks a good player. Solid, would be a real find for a decent side. The polish winger looks reasonable. Lynch was dropped. Oh and Onuha is now banned for 3 games (despite the sending off being harsh, it's a silver lining to me). I am sick of seeing him screw up and provide no leadership game after game. Where do we go from here? I don't know, I've run out of ideas, but it's not looking good.
I agree with you about both polish lads, I actually thought luongo was okay today apart from diving in for penalty, we were at least getting the ball out wide. I take some comfort from Blackburn, Cardiff and Wigan being almost as bad as us, I haven't given up to relegation yet
HoLLLLLLoWay after the game ... http://www.skysports.com/watch/vide...09600/holloway-weve-got-time-to-turn-it-round I don't understand the foreign players not speaking English argument. Watford usually start with a team that contains 11 different nationalities. I can't vouch for whether their English is very good or not though.
This is why the much loved Ollie should never have taken the job, because if it went horribly wrong (which it looks as though it will do) the fans will turn on him, and I'd hate to see that.
