ah young Master Bates, just what the doctor ordered.. c'mon Swansea you know it makes sense.. (does it fcuk but don't tell them.. shh)
Not here to stir the s**t or to step on anyones toes, personally I'd prefer to go for experience rather than youth at this stage ,Consolidate in the league then look to build and develop but what Brendan wants and knows better than little old me, All the best for your season ( I quite like the english)
I'd be gutted to see Ayala go to Swansea and not us, he was such a classy player for us and if we sign him he'll have a massive future at the club (or at least attract a massive fee to have a future elsewhere). As for the Welsh and Swansea, i quite like them. I've never been to Swansea but i quite like the team and the manager, they play the right kind of football and we took 4 points off them last season I guess i have a slightly unique method of deciding if i like football teams since i look after a lot of them where they stay when they play us. Rodgers is a nice bloke unlike some managers (ahem... Grayson's a genuine tosser) and the team didn't have any egotistical twats (ahem... Kasper Schmeichel, complete nob) so i don't have any issues with them really. Anyway, with that in mind keep your ****ing hands off Ayala!!!!
Back to Footballing matters, and in all seriousness he's not experienced enough if Swansea want a successful campaign. They would definitely benefit more from an experienced campaigner that has played at the top level. Having a team full of players new to Premier football can only work against you. I was thinking for example Boateng in midfield for us, steadying influence, brought experience and knowledge for premier survival.
i dont understand why swansea dont go for MATTHEW UPSON. he is a free agenmt with loads of PL experience. Ideal for the PL new boys surely ?
Maybe we don't want expensive has been football players, who are only after another contract to see them into retirement! The Swans will never go for such players even if it means relegation.
It's apparently becoming a bit more complicated than a simple choice, according to the Yorkshire Post: http://www.yorkshirepost.co.uk/spor...licate_hull_s_move_to_capture_ayala_1_3659812
Well if thats the case then it will mean just one thing....STATUS QUO'S..............DOWN DOWN, DEEPER ON DOWN. Looks like Ayala has made his choice. Swansea now after Michael Bates the CB and Capt @ Middlesboro.
Interesting. As a free transfer he would have been ideal for say DQPR as thats all they are signing up these days. the 1.5 million for campbell is pcoket change. no wonder they are tipped for the drop. they just need bullard now. lol.
yes there is speculation down south that west ham will be raided for there big guns soon. Parker looked either very unfit or not bothered on sunday. it may hinder west hams start. but as Barry Silkman (agent) said last week, alot of clubs are waiting until player wage demands drop as the transfer deadline approaches and players get desperate.
On the Bates story NO. Sorry just what has been put on the transfer news. M'BORO need the money and to reduce there wage bill and the one thing nobody knows is what Ayala has been saying. Patience. I am a firm beleaver in the saying that """if its worth having its worth waiting for""" the only thing that annoys me is that Ayala would have been signed and sealed by now if City had not messed about with the fee. Nevermind 500k it should have been the 800k and to keep this out of the public domain. Ayala has a massive sell on price anyway. For me, take away Scott Sinclair and Wayne Routledge and Swansea have No PL class or experience. I fear for them really but wish them all the Best. The key for them imo, is that the 2 wingers above can make chances for Danny Graham and he may just shock a few teams.
Actually quite a few of our players have played in the premier league, and we play as a team and I think we will surprise quite a few teams as they write us off of having no hope! And routredge has just joined a few days ago, and he won't get in the first team as we have dyer on the wing as well. Anyway can't see us going for the boro player, he has cruciate problems in the past with 4 ops to fix it, knowing Rodgers he will go for a youngster like he did with Sinclair and Cauker. If we are in for this guy which I have doubts, he more than likely will come to a club already in the premier league, we shall see I guess.
